Pretty favorable matchups for us here, hopefully Murray will START and END strong, hate it when he plays catch-up, makes him seems apathetic and lazy IMO

This is being broadcast on NBA TV. There is a chance that with the addition of Gordon, this could be the best Nugget team of my lifetime (and that has been a while).

The Hawks will be a challenge and we can't know for sure how much Gordon will play but the excitement feel is there for this game.

I am skeptical about Gordon's impact on this team, until he proves me wrong and I hope he will do that.

Feel excited for our new faces. Less excited about going against Trae who is 16-24 from threes over last three games against us.

Just playing good D should be enough from Gordon, more than we got from Harris this year tbh.. Bu he should have atleast 10ppg efficiently just from Jokic passes

In the past few days, Zion scored 30 and 39 pts vs Nuggets and Siakam 27, so let's see how many points against Denver will score opponents' PF's in the next 3 games (J.Collins ATL, T.Harris PHI, P.George LAC) with Gordon as our PF starter.

AG in starting lineup with Murray, Barton, MPJ, Jokic

Love the equal opportunity offense of the starting lineup. Hope we can figure out the bench scoring on a sustainable, consistent level when Morris is back. Because I doubt Green will have this type of scoring output every half. But if we can figure this out, this team could be really good.
And good to know we have at least another year with this team construction, even with the ability to maybe improve in the offseason.
That will be 2 very interesting seasons...and even after that we have a great framework of a roster to build upon.

On another note, I love that AG is pushing Millsap to backup center for nearly all his minutes...that is where he should be playing at this point of his career.

Yet again, we were so bad defensively when Millsap and Joker shared the court in the third. Please stop Malone!! DefRtg of 117.1 when they are on the court together for the season! It is so obvious!

He mentioned the altitude will take time to adjust to. But the real reason was likely because they were up big in the third and gave the starters a rest.

He didnt need to, just like any starter in last Q. I was hoping Malone will give McGee few mins, but Im ok with Bol also, kid can play, just needa more time in the league

One game sample size obviously doesn’t mean too much. But Barton should never lead the team in shots. This comes when you put him with the 4 best offensive players and the other team wants him to have the ball and as many shots as possible

The reverse happens for dozier: do the Nugs want him to be a scorer off the bench? Shouldn’t. Flip him and Barton.


Obviously with Morris out campazzo has to play. This proves why you don’t start Morris when he comes back.


Millsap role needs to go to Nnaji


Green was special in short minutes. He should be guy 9 when a team doesn’t use 2 centers. Javale guy nine when teams play big.

Gordon sure does looks like a good fit. That's definitely exciting.

That was a frustrating game from Barton. It probably wouldn't be that bad if he didn't miss so many layups, but at a certain point in time, Malone needs to get him to shoot the ball less when he should probably be the last option when on the floor with the starting lineup.

Facu continues to impress. He is such a smart player and his defense on Trae was driving him crazy

I'd switch PJ and Barton. Having 2nd unit in something like Facu-Barton-Zeke-Green-Javale/Paul
