Nuggets Guards on Defense
Which Denver Nuggets guards are the best on the defensive end? Individual defense & team defense combined?

Re: Nuggets Guards on Defense
Since Harris has gone it is a tricky question. The worst is clearly Morris, but that is actually good for the Nuggets and the only reason he stays in Denver, otherwise, pg with such great efficiency would never cost under $10M. In a perfect world, the best is Campazzo, but against guards where he is way too much undersized, he is often almost hopeless. On the other hand, size with good mobility is a big weapon in favor of Dozier and Barton, but so far Malone more used them against opponents' SF's where size is often their weakness. Now when Harris has gone and no more Malone's dirty games with MPJ playing time, both will play much more backcourt minutes, where I see them more useful. The most underrated Nuggets defender is Jamal Murray who similarly to Jokic very well understands the game and is way more useful on the defensive end than the eye test shows. Murray and Jokic tend intentionally to not play serious defense in the 3rd quarters this season to save energy for the final quarter, but that exposes how their defense in the rest of the games was actually very effective. I voted here for Dozier and Facu.
