Good response from the team so far with double-digit halftime lead. Butler-Adebayo are one of NBA best frontcourt duos, but Joker and MPJ outplayed them so far.

Having Dozier score 10+ also helps, lets hope he can get to next level while Murray is out, if we want him to replace Barton in the future.

Jokic triple double and MPJ 25-10 games is actually what we should expected, but 12-18fg Green-Dozier from the bench make difference with outperforming. Unfortunately, 17-36 for threes is too good to expect it on regular basis, but first game after Murray big injury is very promising.

My first game in person this season. It was definitely a little weird but nice to be back. The bench played great and this team is still definitely very good. Close games might be tougher to find that clutch scoring, but they have enough offense and might be a slightly better team defensively without Jamal.

Dozier in particular, with Barton out because of fouls, played well with the starters, a look I would love to see more.

Nice to see the guys responded well tonight.

One thing I noted is how well MPJ plays with Jokic when Murray ISN'T playing. Saw it in the bubble last year and I would bet it continues. MPJ 's scoring will continue to rise, wouldn't surprise me if he gets close to 20ppg/10rpg.

Very nice win 4 starters & 2 bench in double figures. More important, the Nuggets held the Heat to 4 starters in double figures and a total of 106 points. The Nuggets played fairly consistent ball for all four quarters. That's a huge deal IMO.

Barton had a rough game on offense - but didn't push it too much - I appreciated that!

The rest of the starters had reasonable games. Jokic & Porter took the most shots and I never object to that, in fact, I'd like to see both of them take around 20 shots per game. But they don't have to do it every game.

Now's the time for the bench players to step up and show who wants to be here long-term. Green had a great game and I'm looking for at least half of that on a regular basis. Dozier also had a nice game and that excites me. It wasn't so much his offense, which was very good; I like his effort on defense and he looks to be improving there IMO.
