Measuring stick game here, playoff implications/atmosphere going on with this one. Looking forward to seeing how this one plays out

48 points from the guy Utah was missing in the playoffs last year.

Losing Mitchell when they did could end up a huge blessing in disguise, as Bojan has struggled to find his groove this year and seems to be coming around with more responsibility. A Utah/Denver match up in the 2nd round this year would be great.

Another rather normal game for the Nuggets. I say that not because we lost but because we had a great start and then kept getting worse and worse.

I don't remember if Jokic had zero fouls or one foul in the first half, but he ended up with five fouls. That typically happens when a player is getting lazy on defense - out of position, so they reach. I did not realize what was happening, so I'm not sure if that was what happened to Jokic. I'm going to try to re-watch later and look for his fouls.

Bogdanovic & Jordan were hot and several fast breaks, they were left wide open. Our decision making wasn't good on defense for fast breaks.

Our guys made a decent effort but I think we were missing too many of our better guards. Dozier & Morris might have brought enough defense to win the game.

And yet the Nuggets lose by only 7pts playing without their top 3 guards on the road. That was a really nice performance by Bogdanovic, would've been nice for him to get that 50th pt (for posterity, ya know). This was a good game, really looking for the playoffs though

Speaking of missing guards...

On a separate topic, MPJ is really turning into a significant offensive player. The difference this year is that he's shooting with confidence off of movement. He could become a Klay Thompson-like shooter, which would be amazing next to Jokic.

Jazz were without their back court too, they'll get theirs back soon. We need to get at least Barton and Morris back for the playoffs
