This is it for the Nuggets. They need to take the next step as a franchise and finish off the Blazers in 6. No more game 7s.

Our winning formula for this playoff is Jokic playing like MVP, Porter like all-star, Gordon great defense, and one of the guards (Morris, Rivers, Facu...) being X-Factor. I wish Nuggets such a day today so we can survive even a GOAT performance from Lillard.

Well Malone hasn't played anyone significant minutes. If he's saving people, now is the time to play Jokic & Porter & Gordon significant minutes.

The guards on the other hand, should probably be rotated on short shifts. Morris & Rivers & Campazzo & Howard & Harrison --- keep them fresh to try to slow down Lillard & McCollum & Powell --- those three have more than half of Portland's points.

Rivers is a TO machine but MPJ may want Dame's 3pt record.

Jokic with rare foul trouble in the first quarter. If not for MPJ stepping up, this could've been really ugly for the Nuggets.

I doubt he can sustain it.

Really bad first quarter, and if the Nuggets keep this up they're going to lose badly.

- Blazers shot 67% from 3
- They didn't contain Dame as he went for 12 points
- Poor contribution from Millsap and Green

It's nice that the role players are stepping up for the Nuggets.

I can't believe only 3 years after we drafted MPJ Malone already decided to use him as ultimate offensive option. But unfortunately Malone school teacher is back again, so he sits Jokic automatically after 2nd foul so no big benefits from MPJ spectacular 1st quarter (6-7 for threes). With Joker and Porter both on the court in the 2nd part of 2nd quarter we should overturn result (I hope).

I agree, let Jokic ride with those two fouls. Instead, Malone got worried and pull him for 6 minutes.

We need in 2nd half some defense, MVP Jokic, and Porter to stay hot. I don't like Denver playoff attitudes when we lead series. This would be another blowout loss if no monster MPJ 1st quarter.
