Horrible start, once again. The defense is just non-existent. The guards aren't doing anything.

If they continue like this, it's going to be another blowout loss and it'll be 3-0 for Suns.

Way to go playing Campazzo and Rivers all those minutes and having them start the game, Malone

I just don't want to be swept.

The guard play has been completely exposed this series.

Facu and Rivers played hard all year, but they're just not starters on any team in this league. And because of their inability to consistently hit shots, the burden falls heavily on Jokic and MPJ.

Thats why Malone should have stared Morris and Barton at least in the last game, he made no adjustments whatsoever.

I'd like Morris & Barton as starters. But I'd really like to have Malone use every one of our guards - Morris seems like the only NBA starter level. If Malone used Campazzo & Harrison & Howard at PG - all playing all out for about 16 mpg -and- Barton & Rivers & Morris at SG - all playing all out for about 16 mpg; they just might wear out Paul & Booker. The key is energy because they clearly can't match Phoenix with talent.

I am disappointed in the entire team outside of Jokic, it seems like he and now Barton are the only ones that have shown up and actually tried. I said after the last game that it appears that some were ready to go home after the 1st series, and it still looks that way. They have all looked terrible for the most part.

I think the issue with that is nobody has a chance to get into rhythm if they are all getting 16 mpg.


While defense against the guards has been a problem, to me the much bigger issue is our offense. The entire Suns team is keying on Jokic, watch when he gets the ball all the suns players take at least 1 step toward the lane. Of course that defense is nothing new, a lot of teams try it, but we usually have the shooting and cutting to make teams pay, now there is nowhere to cut as the Suns just collapse the entire paint and our shooting seems to have disappeared. Unless guys start hitting 3 pointers on Jokic pass outs and someone other than Jokic starts to drive the lane than our defense does not matter. Even if our defense plays amazing we are not going to win a series with a 106 offensive rating. The only teams with a worse offensive ratings in the playoffs this year were all out in the 1st round.
