This could be a real test for Denver. B2B, road game and a hungry opponent.

Towns and Edwards are surprisingly a leading scoring NBA duo so far this season, so Minnesota is a legit playoff contender this season.

Jokic is playing way too passive. It's unacceptable for Monte to have more shot attempts than him. He's passing up wide open jumpers too. He needs to be aggressive.

A disastrous first quarter:
- 4 turnovers
- Gave up 32 points
- Passive Jokic
- 1-6 from 3
- Bench outscored 12-2

They have to play a lot better or this is going to be a blowout.

Finally, the Nuggets stopped turning the ball over. Hyland is getting some playing time over Facu, which is a great. They need to communicate better defensively and make sure they switch on Beasley.

Mike Malone has Rivers, Hyland and Campazzo on at the same time... I have never seen a 3 PG lineup before.

Ugly win, but you'll take it. Things looked grim in the first. The, again, bench got severely outplayed, Malik really wanted to show out tonight and did so and yet the Nuggets still pull away with the victory.

Barton was pretty bad the entire game, but made up for it with that clutch block.

It was nice to see Hyland play and contribute with those 2 corner 3s. He needs more playing time.

Jokic can't go 0-2 in the first quarter. He needs to be more aggressive from the start.

I'm not sure how much longer the Nuggets can keep winning games with MPJ struggling like this on offense. He did grab 10 rebounds, but he's been ineffective thus far.

Jokic still probably recovering from bruised knees, still leads the team with a double-double, think he deserves a little latitude

He was passing up wide open mid range jumpers in the first to try and set everybody up. I don't like to see that. I think aggressive Jokic, like the won in the 2nd quarter and on, makes the Nuggets a much more formidable team than passive Jokic trying to get everyone involved.

Tough road win, chemistry still isn't quite there IMO. MPJ still out of sync but stepped up on the rebounds. The bench is a hot mess even though Bones showing he needs to be 1st guard off the bench already. Still expecting more from PJ Dozier.

Denver is the only team so far which stopped offensively Towns and Edwards both (10-30, under 15p both despite 25+ppg this season), but we almost lost this game mostly because our bench is badly outplayed once again and MPJ shooting slump continues together to the overall shooting slump of the whole team from 3pt (31% this season, 24% this game).

We won this game thanks to another Jokic MVP performance and outstanding defense of our starting lineup. But scoring just 93 points in most cases will give us a loss. And until Murray is out Malone should more think about why Bones Hyland has tonight +10 in +/- box while the rest of the bench -26 -15 -15 -15 -9. He needs to stop ignoring the type of player which we desperately need right now (very motivated talented combo guard) only because the player is 21y old rookie and he is Mike Malone.
