Game 31 : Charlotte Hornets @ Denver Nuggets

Will the starters respond to bending. They had plenty of rest before OKC. While hornets are another 500 team, they have 5 starters the provide solid numbers and play poorly on the road. The bench will be the key in this game. This is normally not a good thing but they cut OKC 20 lead down to 10 at one point before letting them build the lead back up.

The OKC loss was very discouraging, feels like Malone needs a bit of a shakeup.

The OKC loss was on the starting unit that was still on vacation. I hope tonight is different.

Jokic is settled to make career first 25-25 game after 16 rebounds in the 1st half. I hope Malone will not undermine it with some silly decision.

Once again, ANOTHER failure by Malone. You can't leave the 2nd unit out that long in the 4th quarter. Such a bad loss. These are the games the Nuggets are supposed to be banking.

Yesterday's 4th quarter where Malone rather wanted to punish starters (including Jokic for some reason) than to try to win a game, and today's 4th quarter disaster where Denver lost the game despite +17 lead after the end of the 3rd quarter (-25 was worst final quarter minus in franchise history!) exposed several Malone's weaknesses. Such scandalous things happen even to some great coaches too, but twice in 24 months not twice in 24 hours! If Murray and MPJ will be back in full force in next or 2023-24 season Nuggets need a better coach to reach the maiden NBA final.

Who do you have that will be better? and available.
Keeping in mind that Nikola is FA next year and has be vocal in public and private in support of Malone. No former nuggets has come out that Malone should be fired. Only person on current team might be Bol with hopes of getting on the court.

Cancar played well with Gordon out and keep Hayward below season avg. Like to see Gordon back at PF and Green on Bench. Cancar provided same offense but better defense. When/If Jamal comes back this year, then you have a proven backup on the bench for the wing to spell Barton when he injures himself in the spring.

Fire Malone he has obviously lost this team and trade Barton . The players faces on the time out two minutes left in the game said everything.
