Unofficial roster (all new updates are welcome)
Bones Hyland
Zeke Nnaji
Christian Braun, Kansas (2022#21)
Peyton Watson, UCLA (2022#30)
Ismael Kamagate, Paris Basketball FRA (2022#46)
Collin Gillespie, Villanova
Adonis Arms, Texas Tech
Drake Jeffries, Wyoming
Teddy Allen, New Mexico State
Kyle Allman Jr., Paris Basketball FRA
Matt Mitchell, SIG Strasbourg FRA
Jack White, Melbourne United AUS
Interesting to see all three 2022 draft picks together. Despite all three being described as future projects primarily chosen based on their defensive potential, for such young guys (any of them) next step breakthrough can happen anytime, so why not already this summer
Denver lately has a good history of finding valuable undrafted role players via G-League or during Summer Leagues like Torrey Craig or PJ Dozier. I guess the player to watch is a guard Collin Gillespie who would be drafted two years ago maybe even as 1st rounder if he was available for the 2020 NBA draft, but then he just repeated twice same 15-4-4 numbers in Villanova so he was short last week competing at 23 with all these freshman and sophomore youngsters. If his defense and transition to NBA threes are good (41%3p% in the final NCAA year!), his case is strong.

I hope we see Bones, Braun, Watson, Nnaji, Kamagate lineup for extended time, that could be our bench in 1 or 2 years...

It's a good year to watch summer league if these roster reports prove true.

Very strange Denver Nuggets roster this Summer is without any player who played last season including Hyland, Nnaji, Cancar, or Davon Reed, and all new non-rookie players (KCP, Brown, Smith) are excluded too.
The whole 2022 SL Nuggets roster is our 2022 rookie picks and two-way contract candidates, with Jontay Porter the only player with some NBA experience (played 50 minutes only)

I've always thought of SL play as an introduction to the NBA for the rookies/young players moreso than an intro to team concepts. That would alleviate reasonings about the acquired vets as well as Bones, Nnaji, Cancar and Reed. I also believe this is a very veteran team so this is more of a specialized view of certain players, and give coaches a bit more responsibilities, see how they handle it as well.

Interesting, not one player under 6' 3" on the SL team. Guess Marcus Howard and Facu might see the writing on their walls.

Not sure why is it strange, Hyland is expected to run the second unit and Zeke/Vlatko/Reed are not exactly rookies, there's nothing for them to gain from the SL. Veterans as KCP/Smith/Brow never play SL unless they are recovering from a major injury or something like that.

Saw Braun listed as a F but with Watson drafted as a SF, I see Christian as more of a SG. To that end, here’s the SL lineup I see
PG Gillespie
SG Braun
SF Watson
PF Porter
C Kamagate
Good defensive team, we’ll see about the offense but should be okay in the Summer League

After the draft I think Booth made it very clear that Braun is a SG, but he was a combo forward in college so I am sure that is where the listing came from.
There is some buzz about Adonis Arms, do you know much about him?

Can't say I know a lot about Arms, Texas Tech wasn't on my radar much this year but I've some of the buzz too, perhaps a candidate for Grand Rapids or our 2nd 2-way ??

He is on an exhibit 10 contract or whatever it is called, which means he gets to be in training camp and got a bonus, but is ultimately going to a G league team. But if he is as good as some seem to think than we might have to give him our 2 way before someone else steals him.

Hope Jack White shows out for you. Don't think he's upto the NBA, but he's such a hard worker/great teammate, so I'm hoping against hope he catches.

Best that can be hoped for would be camp invites, we don't have any roster spots open. However, a good shot to showcase to other teams, my guess.

Looking forward to seeing Gillespie, he's got the pedigree to make us forget about Monte Morris IMO

Makes sense. He's a perfect complimentary guy, so won't get in the way of the guys you want scoring, etc.

Seems that was our entire offseason.

WE do have a 2 way deal that may be used, but we have a ton of forward depth so it would take a monster summer league performance to even have a hope. We do usually see a lot of guys change teams for 2 way deals after summer league, hopefully he catches on with someone.

Averaged just under 10 points per game in the NBL, so I don't think the Summer League style will really let him show out. Still, he works, so maybe transition and glass gets him noticed. He's more a good defender, strong small 4 type.

I didn't like the 2020 SL case when we find a decent undrafted player Terence Davis ready to be a legit NBA backup role player already that season, but the Raptors stole him (signed contract) after his very first SL game for Denver.
So far what makes me upset about this 2022 SL is today's Rockets - Magic game. Like everyone else I was focused on #1 / #3 picks face-off, and curious to see RJ Hampton again, but then the guy who comes from the bench, Orlando's #32 pick Caleb Houston steal the show by scoring 20 points including 5/9 for threes. He is GF and ahead of Watson in mock drafts (even ahead of Braun in some) so I guess he was an option for us as the #30 pick but FO maybe overlooked him. OK, this is just one single game, we will see him again.
