Only Murray is listed as questionable.
We all are curious about MPJ and Jamal's recovery, new players' adaptation (KCP and Brown), Hyland and Nnaji's improvement, and rookies (Cancar too), but also will be interesting to see who playing PG when Murray is on the bench and who playing SF when 'only' 2 big are on the floor.

Jokic doesn't care and hardly took a shot. No surprise that Bones is the backup point but Jordan seems to be the backup center at present.

Didn't get to watch the game, is Nnaji playing the PF/C position ? Thought I read he was excelling at backup C, but I always saw him more as a PF.

Yeah, I think we will see a bit of both depending on the matchup. He looked pretty solid from what I saw last night.
Jordan actually looked better than anticipated. As I have heard, they liked Jordan more than Boogie in the pick and roll game and I can kind of see why. Boogie wasn't nearly as controlled when rolling with the ball.

Extrapolated out to estimated season PT, Murray was looking at about 24pt, MPJ about 27pts, Gordon 24pts, and Jokic about 6pts (which we all know won't be happening). Still, sounds pretty promising to me

Jokic out... Porter, Hyland, and Gordon looked good, some credit to Jordan and Watson too, but the rest is not so impressive at all today.

Definitely a game that we missed the Joker

About fell over when it looked like Murray was hurt. Fortunately, it was minor. Nothing else matters from this game.

So, would you all be worried if Joker doesn't play at all in the preseason ? Just a question, not a prognostication BTW.

We know what Jokic can do, why take a chance on injury? Nevertheless, Malone wants him to be in shape so he will probably play him some.
I have seen enough of MPJ as well. He's ready.
Murray is the issue for me. He is such a slow starter and needs some time but I hate the thought of exposing him to injury in the preseason. Add in the fact that Bones needs the minutes and you might as well let Ish mesh with the team, then why play the big 3 at all? Still, a coach is likely to think differently.
It will be interesting to see if Malone wants to play all of the them much this preseason.

Well, Jokic did have the FIBA to keep him sharp, more worried about the wrist, which issues seem to start clear back in the bubble.

Does look like his scoring is back but
still needs defensive lessons..SSDD

Heard it was a soft tissue injury, expect some more of that this season. Glad you brought up Ish, I was ready to write him off but have changed my tune, especially if there are slow times with Murray. Still want to see Bones develop his Playmaking skills, especially with him guiding the 2nd unit.
Malone will be Malone, just have to see where he takes it....again

Signed Chasson Randle to an Exhibit 10 contract, other than perhaps re-directing him to our G-League team, seems a bit late in preseason to me, gotta ????????
As for tonight's game against the Suns, hoping for our first victory tonight, hoping that the defensive message will arrive without Postage Due

Malone is sitting a lot of starters tonight and that is a good. You don't play to win in preseason.

PHX playing their starter while both Joker and Blue Arrow watching from the bench but were still playing well. Bones shooting well, showing some playmaking, Braun having some impact in his mins. MPJ having poor shooting night and getting distracted on getting back on D, Jeff Green revealing some youth in those old legs.

Suns playing their starter well into the 3rd, we're only down 5pts so really seeing some talent on this team. PHX is a contender and we're playing them solid.

Feels like Ish is going to be our Energizer Bunny this year.
