Game 11 : Denver Nuggets (7-3) @ Indiana Pacers (5-5)

Healthy mighty Denver is a bold favorite as usual always when we face teams from the NBA bottom and middle house, but be aware that the Pacers are hot since Turner back from the injury (they won 4 out of the last 5 games). Expectations that Indiana will be a tanking team this season are wrong or at least premature until they upgrade Hield and Turner's market value. Another reason for worry is the fact that Denver way better playing at home than on the road this season (4-0 vs 3-3, pts differential +14.3 vs -5.7), but we improving, winning the last two away games.

Another low-energy collapse on the road games. We won 35-27 in 1st quarter, everything is like it should be for a routine win, but then right from nowhere we started 2nd quarter 2-18 (Pacers scored 43 points in that quarter!)!? Jokic somehow managed to collect 4 fouls in just 10 minutes, so chances to fight back and win after -14 on halftime are not good at all, but we are a better team for sure.

Anybody else just become annoyed when they hear Katie Wingie? She knows her basketball but she just seems to be forcing herself to talk half the time and that whole munder thing she says annoys the **** out of me.

Shout Out to AG50, bagging 16 boards, 18 points to go along with 6 assists. Anyone who asks why we're trying to improve his playmaking skills should know why now. And for what it's worth, those Bol Bol fans, he''d STILL be playing behind our front line starters, all 7'2" of his skinny behind.

Take out BOS Friday and that 12-14 game win streak I was hoping for just MAY come into focus.

GO NUGGETS !!

Don't mention Bol Bol fans when you did not even know what was the trade that brought Aaron Gordon to Denver.

I am worried about the physical defense from Turner on Jokic, it was pretty effective. I hope he does not get trade to the West.

Turner can't guard Jokic. Jokic had to sit most of the game due to the foul trouble, he was owning Turner early inthe game , its hard to get into the rhythm when you are butchered by the refs all game long . Still he managed to score some crucial points in the last quarter.

I think she's better than her two old colleagues .

STFU, you just always come over here to whine about something, you just want to criticize, nothing positive come outta your trap. Having been a TRUE Nuggets fan for over 50 years, I'll comment on anything I deem of value (which usually isn't within your posts)

Effective? We're we watching the same game? The only thing effective on Jokic last night was the refs.

As usual you intend to be the smartest guy in the room. In the last 5 minutes, Jokic was 1/7 FG, all guarded by Turner except the weird last shot on Mathurin. And the shot he made was a jump shot from 20feet.

I will say it again, Turner was pretty efficient guarding Jokic in the post in the last clutch minutes. Apparently I was not the only one who noticed it.

Jokic was still 4/9 for 11 points in the 4th, he had some misses that just went in and out, still pretty good when you take into account he had to sitout an entire quarter. As for Hollinger, still remember his recent take:

Maybe you should watch the games and quit getting your ideas from national writers who are just looking at stats. As Richard said Jokic had a couple go in and out after basically being out of the game for almost the entire 2nd and 3rd quarter. That ain't defense.

I cannot believe Jeff Green played on same team as Kurt Thomas and he is still dunking over people. :D 8-3 after 11 games is nice record. Yeah, schedule was pretty easy, but only 4 home games. Today against Boston will be a tough one. Wouldn't mind to see Braun again.
