Game 12 : Denver Nuggets (8-3) @ Boston Celtics (8-3)

Finally some true challenge for the Nuggets this season. We should lose this one for sure if we once again repeat road game partial collapses, there is no way we will survive against Boston -20 quarter like the last game against the Pacers in Indianapolis. But don't forget our best game this season was a road win vs GSW champions, so if we repeat it vs the 2022 NBA finalist we have a decent chance for the same outcome in Boston.

The Celtic's veteran center was 6-8 for the three and their 6'1 backup guard have 4 offensive rebounds (all ended in points), while the Nuggets not only don't have such an X-factor but our best offensive weapons Jokic dimes (3) and Porter's threes (1-6) didn't work today. We still have low-energy problems on the road.

This team can't guard the chair. Jokic again making dumb fouls, checking himself out of the game.

Seemed like a "scheduled Loss", ref compliant.

Is Jokic not a two time MVP? I have never seen a MVP get such a **** whistle on a regular basis as Jokic gets.
Going back to even his rookie year Brown seems to struggle defensively against undersized backup PGs, and I don't care what the stat sheet says he was struggling to even get the bench into the offense. With Jokic on the court Brown can be the point guard, without him we need Murray, Bones, or Ish.
Jordan struggles against undersized athletic bigs, the only true Center the Celtics have is Horford, so I knew Jordan was going to struggle. I was hoping we would see NNaji in place of Jordan in the 2nd half, I think NNaji would have spread the floor more making it easier for Brown and other guys to get into the lane and try to create something. I know NNaji struggles with rebounds, but defensively NNaji would have helped as well since he is so much more mobile than Jordan.
MPJ has to learn to deal with and play through physical defense, the Suns shut him down in the playoffs 2 years ago and Tatum/Brown did is last night. He is never going to be a true 1st or 2nd option until he learns to play through it and deal with it.

I don´t think MPJ can ever be 1st option, even a second. He is a guy who averages 1 assist to 13 FGA. Don´t get me wrong, shooting´s what he is best at so that´s excatly the role he is asked to do. I am not saying he should sudenly become play maker. But that is really tought role to play and as top option you just have to be able to do it.
So I hope I didn´t start (another

) stupid flame. Just saying we want him as catch and shoot guy. So he won´t have much opportunities to learn how to distrubute and create for others as 1st or 2nd option needs to know.

I can see your point about him not being a #1 (yet), but I can easily see him as a #2 with his increasing scoring outputs and building confidence. I've noticed he has continued to be the leading scorer in the opening halves, he's allowing Jamal (who opens slower but does better as the closer) to return to form while recovering from his injuries. I do want to point out that MPJ's rebounding is still a strong part of his game, as long as he's healthy he'll have star potential.

Totally. He has great rebounding instincts.
