Game 18 : Denver Nuggets (10-7) @ Oklahoma City Thunder (7-10)

Denver is a much better team and Oklahoma not even trying to reach the playoff this season, but we must be very careful.
For me, the biggest late concerns are our ultimate weapons Jokic's rebounding and Porter's threes, which maybe suggest their bodies are not in perfect shape. Jokic is on 6 games streak of under 10 rebounds, which last time happens in 2016 when he averages around 20 mpg. Porter started the season with 43/89 (48.3%) as the best 3pt shooter in the league out of those who score at least 3.0 per game, but in the last 4 games, MPJ is just 4/21 (19%). Let's hope both issues will end tonight.

Porter, Murray, and Hyland are out vs OKC.

38-21 perfect 1st quarter with Davon Reed in starting lineup and Jack White in the rotation due to too many injured players. Jokic playing very aggressively (14p in the opening 8 minutes) so this is basically last season's team with KCP and Brown instead of Barton and Morris. With such a big early lead this becomes a "must-win" game. The defense is much better than usual.

Only +6 at halftime. Late in 2nd quarter Nuggets lead +19 when OKC has a 12-0 run and makes the game open again.
Jokic was great with 23 points (missed only one shot) but something is definitely wrong with his rebounding, only 3 rebs in 1st half despite the #2 and #3 rebounders MPJ and DeAndre not playing.

Big OT win...
Brown's career first triple-double, Jokic's monster 37-10-9 game (just 1 assist away from Nuggets historic double-triple-double), 30-8-4 Gordon was spectacular in 2nd half, season's 1st 20+ game for Cancar... but we almost lose the game with so many great individual efforts because late in the 1st half and early in 2nd half opponent have 0-12 and 2-14 runs. Again and again, we have such deep downs in road games.

Nice OT victory to break this skid. AG50 goes for 30pts/8rebs to support the Joker

Don't dismiss Vlatko's FIVE assists, feels like his best game as a Nugget.
