Denver is now the clear favorite to finish the regular season as WC #1 seed, but Dallas overnight becomes a title contender (or at least a dark horse) by getting multiple all-stars Irving via trade. Irving is questionable for this game, but also Wood, Murray, and Gordon, so many things about this game depend on how will look the starting lineups of both teams.

CB comes into the game, grabs an offensive rebound then hits MPJ for an asst and a 3pt score !

Nuggets outscore the Mavs 35-19 in the 2nd qtr to extend a 17pt lead at half. MPJ leads the scoring with 15pts but Joker adding 11pts in the 2nd to start his next TD.

Nuggets with a strong DEFENSIVE (yes, I said it) effort against the Mavs tonight. Picking it up as we get closer to the playoffs !

I cannot dissapoint Sky so I´ll start negative. :D (The bad) story of our season... Was waiting to see Luka and Kyrie and of course he had to miss this game.

I mean of course I like easy win too, but if the game was more competitive I´d be happier. Btw I don´t think Dallas is real tittle contender. Not deep enough? They are shallow.

Is it just me or did you also think it might be the first time you saw MPj´s jump shot being blocked? :o

And for all doubters: Uncle still has it!

One more think- is it me being old school or what? Down 20 and Luka sooo happy and smiling the whole time? I was pissed while rooting against them. If it was our player I´d be bitching about it for the rest of his career probably. :D

MPJ looked exceptional in this game. It was not just his scoring but his defense that has vastly improved with shot blocking, steals, defensive rebounding and positioning. He has worked well on switches with Gordon in past games but with Gordon out, it seemed as if MPJ has pushed his defense to another level.

If there is a weakness in his defensive game, it is against faster perimeter players like quick guards (most bigs do). Against Doncic he was great and the Dallas star had a difficult time with MPJ's height, particularly shooting over him on the perimeter.

Here is another player who continues to get better.

I agree, he has improved defensively which is HUGE for this team. Feels like he's worked on it with the coaches as well as AG50 and KCP. The whole team has improved defensively, I believe we're top 10 right now, gearing up for our Championship run.
