Another strong playoff team is coming (b2b game), but the Pacers are coming without their best player, so this is a "must-win" home game.

6 minutes before halftime Jokic had 8 rebounds and 7 assists and was ready for a first-half triple-double which happens only 4 times in NBA history. But Malone sits him on the bench :banghead: because of 3rd foul.

Pretty impressive win....for our starters. We all know when our starters are hitting on all cylinders we're pretty much unstoppable, showed that today vs. a pretty good IND team. Guess the bench didn't have to make a big impact but only 11pts.....

Err on the side of caution, helped us to a win rather than an irrelevant stat IMO

Jokic finished the whole game with 3 fouls not committing any for the rest of the game, so it would not be the end of the world if he stayed these 6 minutes on the floor. He makes just 2 assists in the 2nd half, obviously bored and unmotivated, unlike during 1st half before cooled by Malone.

If Jokic cared about those irrelevant stats he'd be Joel Embiid....thank God he's doesn't care

Yeah... The hunger to break all possible records and impressive achievements destroyed the careers of Jordan, LeBron, Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky, Djokovic, Leo Messi... etc

Not!

I feel their only desire was the same as Joker's ..TO WIN !! I doubt any of the above-mentioned stars took aim at any acheivemental goals other than titles. Jokic has expressed he has no desire to win the season's MVP, just proves lesser accolades don't mean anything either.

So, we'll just have to agree to disagree the importance of stats to ones legacy
