A B2B road game against a non-playoff team. The Nuggets somehow won against a weak Raptors team despite Toronto's lead in double digits just 2 minutes left, so let's hope today we don't need to be lucky to win against an underdog. The Nets shocked the Bucks in their previous home game and we played OT yesterday (and the team is obviously in bad shape), so we need to take this game very seriously, otherwise, we will have a negative record in October for the first time since 2017.

Denver was the NBA's #2 team in the first quarter of the 2023-24 regular season, #4 in 2022-23, and #1 in 2020-21. It is our traditionally best quarter, but this season, we lost all four opening quarters and we are #26 by Q1 net rating without today's -13.

The rebuilding team scores 72 points (12-24 threes) in 1st half against the Nuggets. Our offense is better than in previous games, but our defense doesn't exist. This is still a must-win game despite -9 at halftime.

-3 before the final quarter, we should win this. We did not stop their threes (17-37 so far), but our offense is the best this season with MPJ and Westbrook very good on the offensive end.

Westbrook is currently 10-10 for free throws, I'm not sure he started the game with 10-10 from the line since 2020 when his FT% dropped to 65%. By far his best game for the Nuggets so far.

The strategy we playing against underdogs back-to-back, so let's play only in 2nd half to save energy... turned into overtime both times (but luckily we won both games). The 144-139 result says it all, we barely played defense seriously but the offense was perfect with Joker almost achieving a 30-20-15 monster.

OT again but the fellas showed guts and fight in this win. On to MINN, who lost tonight, hopefully we'll get a little rest before playing the Tpups.
