The local NBA rivalry, which nobody cared much about outside of Colorado and Minnesota for decades, suddenly became one of the fiercest rivalries in recent years, especially now, in 2024. Both teams did not start the new season well and a victory tonight will be a big wind at the back of the winner. The fans were most afraid of whether the new starters Braun and Randle would successfully replace KCP and KAT, but they have not disappointed so far, but both benches. It seems that the Wolves, in addition to the poor start of DiVicenzo and Reid, also have a problem with the decline of PG starter Conley, which in his case may be just a new reality because the veteran is 37 years old.

If we start November with a win in Minneapolis, all the troubles from October will be forgotten!

Denver is 0-5 this season in 1st quarters which used to be our best. The Nuggets actually played very well opening quarter today but Malone in the final minute benched Jokic when Edwards and Gobert are still on the court so Minnesota takes the lead against our 2nd unit with a 5-0 finish of the quarter.

From 29-28 to 29-43 when Jokic was on the bench.

When Jokic is on the bench we should play with Murray AND MPJ on the court as 2nd unit support, not Murray OR MPJ.

Our bench 1st half 1-14 shooting is shockingly bad even for their shockingly low 2024-25 standards!

Great 1st half from our starters (apart from Murray) so despite 1-14 bench shooting disaster -3 result is active at halftime.

Randle is such a dirty player. Back in time, he broke Paul Millsap's hand who never again was an elite player after his comeback and today seems he injured Murray at the start of the 2nd half away from the ball. If we lose today it will be the key moment.

Right from nowhere shorthanded Nuggets take the lead in the middle of the final quarter. If we beat the Wolves in Minnesota without Murray it will be an epic win thanks to our big-3 frontcourt lineup.

What a frustrating loss. With 3 and a half minutes left Denver leads +10 but the game was finished with a 2-15 Minnesota run. Jokic was out of the gas after playing three 40+ minute games so he can't collect the 10th rebound the entire 4th quarter. AG and MPJ deserved this win.

Starters 37-70 (3p 11-23), bench 4-22 (3p 0-9), but at the end, the starters were out of the gas and lost in a tragic way.
