In the legendary 2022-23 season, Denver was the league's best team during the opening quarter, but this season, we are shockingly bad in the 1sts game after game. So it is nice to see us make the first quarter great again in the 2023 big final rematch with almost perfect 14-20 FG shooting and 40 points combined with decent defense.

Compared with October Watson went from useless to very useful while Westbrook from negative impact to very positive (+MPJ jumped from 3pt poor to 3pt% great). Unfortunately, Murray's health has now a problem for months (including the 2024 playoff and the Olympic games) and Gordon's current injury turned worse than initially seemed.

Great 1st half, our 5+1 lineup works very well despite AG being out. We scored 70+ points in 1st half thanks to perfect shooting:

2p% - 70%
3p% - 52%
FT% - 100%

TS% - (sensational) 78%

Doesn't seem like the old Jimmy Butler (happy so say). Jamal starts slow. but comes back in for a nice spark. Bench still needs to ramp it up IMO.

Definitely a Starters-Only game...proof we have THE BEST starting 5, imagine if Murray was at full-strength and AG was healthy and back inthis lineup. Does look like PWatt is learning the game better though.

We have a good bench too if Westbrook and Watson stay on their November level so far. 5+2 may not the optimal solution for the regular season but for the playoffs, it will work.
