This is Denver's last game of 2024, and we are playing against the 2nd worst team in the West. There is a big difference in how we will grade the 2024 part of this season, between an eventual decent 18-13 and an awful 17-14 record (considering the easy schedule and no big injury problems). Must-win game if the team wants to jump into 2025 with a positive attitude!

Jazz tried to make it close in the 4th but we pulled away for the win, getting back to normal with another win. Bench stills needs a makeover.

1 MVP player with a 35-20-10 type of monster triple-double
2 triple-double legends with triple-doubles in the same game
3 players from the same team with 10+ assists
4 Denver players with 20+ points in the same game

This is a perfect example of finishing the year in a positive way!

My take on this game: I believe Utah scored more points in this game than in any other game they've played this year.

Our defense was terrible. Is that bad?

Our championship year our defensive rating was the worst ever by an NBA champion. We were ranked 12th. However, our offense was ranked 5th.

This year our defense is ranked 19th and our offensive is ranked 4th.

I started this post with the idea we had an issue. I had a whole bunch of stats and commentary. I just deleted all of that. Our team is definitely not "conventional" (whatever that means), but if coach can get all the pieces together by playoff time ... I believe we can win regardless of where we are in the standings.

{{ Although I still am concerned about avoiding 7th & 8th spots. }}
