No excitement this time against the Sixers because Embiid will not play... as usual in Denver

Denver scored almost 80 points in 1st half, but for me, the more *impressive* stat is ZERO fouls at halftime of all our starters

The thing to watch in the rest of the match: another double-triple-double from Jokic and Westbrook.

Another 3Q early triple-double for Jokic, but *unfortunately* the Nuggets lead +23 so maybe Malone will once again prevent history to be happen by not using Westbrook anymore (played only 25 minutes so far). Westbrook needs 3 more rebs to become with Jokic just 2nd ever couple with more than one double-triple-double (note that they playing just half of the season together).

Great win, but Malone should be fired

Murray was obviously bored by the weak opponent (scored just 9p), but played 32 minutes, while Westbrook was supermotivated to make history, but was prevented by MM, playing just 25 minutes :banghead:

Without Embiid, the Sixers are just a lottery team. They did play without PG as well but the Nuggets seemed to just toy with them, OMG I love that.

Maybe I need to have my eyes checked but I thought I saw Paul George playing for the Sixers in this game. You must be talking about another PG.

Nevertheless, this was a beat down and I heard the TV announcer claim that Malone will use Gordon off the bench for the foreseeable future. It probably means the Nuggets have solved their bench issues.
Canned in Denver.

I don't think it is related to our bench issues which are not that big when the whole basic 5+3 lineup is healthy. Simple, Malone realized that offensively Braun feels better as SF than SG, Murray as SG than PG, MPJ as PF than SF, while Westbrook's all-around game surprisingly is not in any collision with Jokic's all-around game at all. Gordon is our working horse ready for any role the team needs from him, including being 6th man, so why not?
