Game 3, Round 2 : Oklahoma City Thunder #1 @ Denver Nuggets #4 (1-1)

Before game#2, it was almost WHO CARES, but before game#3, it was already almost MUST WIN, because once we make a break, protecting home court is the key to success.

Winning tonight would put a chill down the spine's of every player on the Okc squad. The light at the end of the tunnel would be like every fan in Ball Arena.....LIT !!!!

Time to turn it on, tonight is the best chance to put a Nuggets foot on the throat of their opponent, especially after the embarrassment in pukey Okc.

GO NUGGETS !!

MPJ had a great shooting 1st half, but apart from rebounding Jokic had a very bad half (1as/5to, 2-9fg), and another key fact why OKC leading +5 at halftime despite cold SGA shooting is 9-0 lead in offensive rebounding.

Great win, AG ties at the end of the 4th and Nuggs close out Game 3 in OT...EXCELLENT, Okc folding like the lawn chair they are.

TWO more games fellas, done it before just lock it down AGAIN!!!

Somehow Denver survived Jokic's 0-10 threes and 8 TO mostly thanks to our 3 forwards who shoot threes 11-15 tonight. Four Nuggets with 20+ only one from OKC (not SGA!). Supertight game until we trashed them 11-2 in overtime.

Definitely the worst game, and worst playoff game I've ever seen from this current version of Jokic and it isn't even close.
The rest of the squad really stepped up big time, was glad to see some Zeke Nnaji minutes too because he has been solid and didn't make any mistakes.

Aaron Gordon will get his jersey retired, and dammit it should be tonight. He is tied for the most game-tying or go ahead baskets in the playoffs since 1997 (3).

What predictions do we have for game 4? So far the battle seems to be keeping the game close, if we do then I would bet on our ability to close out games over theirs.

I think the refs were for the most part pretty fair today after the 1st quarter, OUTSIDE of Jokic. But Jokic's reactions and bad body language is part of the reason they're not giving him anything. What do you guys think?

Gotta present some serious kudos to the MEN and Adelman for maintaining their cool thru the whole game coming off that Game 2 beatdown. It would've been easy to lay it down but Denver NEVER let this game get out of reach, knowing that we have the Hearts of Champions.

Also appears like the Nuggets have a winning game plan against the Blunder, keep it close until the 4th qtr and let AG tie/win it then let our Championship experience overcome the Blunder.

Just looking at the box score and it looks like Murray had the best first quarter and Porter & Westbrook had good second quarters and Gordon had a good fourth quarter. Third quarter and OT look like "team periods". So overall, this looked like a team game -- compared to most games where Jokic has to dominate. I love our team and believe the team game will be even better next year -- assuming some of our bench will be developed.
