Tim Hardaway Jr.

Post#1 » by THE J0KER » Wed Jul 2, 2025 8:06 am

Denver uses the cap space created by the MPJ-CJ deal to get a new 6th man in proven veteran Tim Hardaway Jr. As someone who complained for years about Will Barton, you may think I will say something negative against THJ, but no, I actually didn't complain against Barton as player per se, but against his wrong starter co-leader status under Malone rule. THJ has no problem coming from the bench, and he is GF (we need SG and SF both).

Based on Jokic-Murray style, Hardaway should fit just fine with them on the court IMO. However, I suspect most of his minutes will be when one or both of our big two are sitting on the bench. That's where I think he'll fit the best. I think he can play with either one the floor and he'll definitely be a nice fit when Jokic & Murray are both sitting on the bench.

He's a good shooter, but not a great facilitator. I'm hoping he can become more of a facilitator. I don't think any of his previous teams asked him to be a facilitator -- we shall see.
