Am I the only one who don't mind Carter starting all year?

He is doing everything we need out of a pg or any player in general and he has been our best 4th quarter player this season.

We dont really have another option lol, but yes he's exceeding expectations.

It'll be fine until he goes up against an elite SG. How could he possibly slow down Kobe?

No, you're not.

I think he has done a better job for us than Blake. If he can keep getting the 3 to fall, he is a great fit.

did anyone else notice that blake is top 5 in 3pt% this season? aside from that, Carter has really picked up his offensive game and gotten into a much better flow as far as directing the Nugs on that end of the court. earlier on in the season he looked pretty bad on offense, so I'm going to have to see offensive consistency from him for another 10 games or so before I'm willing to jump on the bandwagon. I've definitely been impressed with his game lately though.

Aside from his makes, I think his mentality is right for that position. Steve Blake excelled at that position in relation to his past work, same with AC, same with maybe a few other pg - the main thing is they take it seriously and just push it as far as it will go.

I think AC is feeling it, and pushing it.

I would rather see him come off of the bench and JR start because it would give the second unit some direction and leadership.

I think he's a great fit for us as a starter. He gives the backcourt defense and overall intensity and focus.

Although he is not the most skilled guard, I think he works hard and gives his all every night... which is a great example for Melo and Nene.

carter and JR's minutes need to be flipped....Carter would be more effective playing 18-20 minutes per night....JR needs some tick.

carter's been awful for quite awhile now. crashing back to earth.

if he's getting 30+ minutes a night in the playoffs, just turn it off because it'll be another quick exit.

for a 3rd string point guard playing as a starter...he's been solid.
for a starter on a playoff team that desperately needs shooting and good decision making from its point guard...he's been horrendous.

He'd be a perfect fit with Denver IMO.

But seriously Denver needs to make a move if they want to contend now. With AI and Camby nearing the end of their primes I think this season and next season is when their window closes. The Nuggets need to find a way to add another high quality, high impact player to the core of AI-Melo-Camby.
