should be a very hard game. the lakers are 17-4 in their last 21 games (17+4=21 ... i'm a genious) BUT they are hit by the injury bug like we are. mihm is out and their new rising "star" player bynum is out too. maybe kwame will play but it isn't sure yet. so you'll see two broken teams face each other.

hopefully we can have martin back in the lineup...

i still think we can win this one. yeah, the lakers are 15-6 at home. WHO CARES? let's be the one who make them 15-7 at home.

This is a big game for us,got to win this game to keep the confident going and build on some consistentcy, with a win i think that would be the first time this season we'll be 10 games over 500, which better way to get it then against the lakers, hopefully kenyon is good to go and the team can take advantage of the bynum less lakers.

GO NUGGETS!

I'd like to see JR get some more time on Kobe, he did pretty good job the last meeting.

Trevor Ariza is out.

Phil Jackson will definitely use Coby Karl now.

no way.

he'll probably send him to the d-league the day before the game (again) just to mess with karl's head.

phil wouldn't give karl the pleasure of coaching against his kid in the nba unless its a 40 point blowout...and the lakers are leading.

pretty even injury wise

Lakers - Radmonivic, Bynum, Ariza
Nugs - Nene, Kmart, Atkins

4th seed vs 5th seed. should be a fun game.

True, but you'll never get a Laker fan to buy that. Bynum is like the second coming of Christ to them.

Yeah, but Melo and Najera are pretty banged up too. The only really healthy rotation players right now are AI, AC, Camby (knock on wood), and JR Smith.

Linas Kleiza?

I think it is a bad idea to try to put Carter on Kobe and not double. you run the risk that he will get hot and torch the Nuggets. also, with no bynum in this game the Nuggets don't risk as much while doubling because the lakers don't have the scoring options they otherwise would with brown or turiaf in the game. as long as the Nuggets can make their rotations and cover the three ball that is. if they can't do that then the game is lost no matter what...

Kleiza would be worth a try. If he's the Kleiza from two games ago that would really mess with Kobe. Plus you still have Melo and AI and a corner JR to deal with if you can trust Kleiza with him.

Carter would at least have the experience to stay with Kobe cerebrally....just think Kobe would have him with quickness and obviously height.

Anyone think it's time to see Hunter play yet?

i'm not afraid of kobe. really. he's nothing without a true center. they sucked last season and the seasons since o'neal left. the only reason why they play so successfull is because bynum improved a lot. bynum became a force inside the paint and he's out. i see us winning this game. 17-4 in last 21? sorry... 17-4 is with bynum!

EDIT: Breakin News: Trevor ariza broke his foot in practice today.

not afraid of the Nuggets playing a sub-par team? (without Bynum)

Didnt melo say that they're going to double kobe everytime he touches the ball, as he doesnt think their current role players can win for them?

On the press conference on ALT, he said "double/triple Kobe and make everyone else beat us". and then some guy with a blog who randomly reviews games wrote "Melo also said that they're just going to guard Kobe because he thinks everyone else sucks" which caused a stir in Lakerland.

but you can think that if it gets you excited for tonight's game
