yeah unless Iverson picks up the scoring for Melo and others (Kleiza, Martin) contribute on the O end, we can win this one. And also play D and not stand like poles like we did in Lakers game.

i'm scared of losing again :( damn i'm scared of losing against the hawks  i think i lost my confidence in the game against the lakers. i dunno, i think i was always one of those nuggets fans who always thought we can win against anybody. losing against atlanta AND charlotte, nene out and melo now too made me lose that feeling.

has anybody encouraging words ?

Atlanta sucks on the road, that might help.

this one made me feel confident about a win

we are a powerhouse at home and the hawks suck on road, signs are good for nuggets. history shows we underachieve against those teams no matter if we are at home or not. that's the bad thing about it. hopefully we can show that we are somebody...

EDIT: Portland plays tonight AT new orleans. if they win we can gain the division lead again. our matchup is a little bit easier i think

I think this game is very winnable, AI can carry the team easily without Carmelo. I think we could have beaten LA, if AI didn't have such a poor shooting night.

AI will likely be playing hurt. Wiretap says he hurt his wrist in the Lakers game.

Then again, it is AI, so that doesn't have any discernible correlation with his performance.

He never points these things out. Must want other guys to step up.

Feel free to stop by the Hawks board and chat on our game thread about tonight's matchup.

It's rare I don't clown the opposing city but I really miss going to Breck and Holiday Mtn every year like I did in college.

I go to Brek on the regular. I don't ski or ride anymore, just party a lot. There are always girls there ready to get wild while they are away from their normal lives...

Nice, right next to me, I'm in Arvada, almost on the border of Wheat Ridge.

AI hurt means nothing, he's the biggest warrior in NBA, he'll still drop 30+ today with Melo's absence.

I read A.I. had an x-ray of the wrist today... Any news?
