On TNT Carmelo said he was feeling better. Is he really out another game? And we always struggle with the Nets. If Carmelo don't play, expect VC and RJ to submit their resume for the all star game and look for this game to get ugly.

I think the coaches/gms will have a very hard time justifying a vote for a second all-star on a team with a record as bad as the nets.

he only said that it was getting better and that he was day-to-day.

i think i read he left the PC on crutches yesterday. that doesn't sound like someone who's ready to play an nba game.
i'd rather him rest and be ready for this dallas/new olreans back to back. NEED to get at least one of those.

I highly doubt that Anthony will give it a go with his ankle against the Nets. NJ aren't a very good team (obviously judging by their 6 L streak), so I think the Hawks game group can handle this game and get us a W.
Realistic Prediction: Denver - New Jersey 104-98

Jerseys gonna get run out of the gym in GS tonight and take a very late flight back this way. Dont think we should need melo.

The nets are on a back to back, so we should be the team with the most energy. But, they match up very well against us at almost every position. There guard combo is big and can play, this won't be an easy game for us IMO. I hope we get Kmart involved early and often against his old mates.

it would be great if the Nugs blew them out and we got to see our scrubs play a little. I have to believe that Wafer is stagnating on the bench. I mean he gets to play in practice, but might he be developing faster in the d-league? I'm still anxious to see Hunter play a little as well.

Nets just had a tough game tonight; it was a late game so they should get in around 3 or 4 in the morning. Hopefully we can jump on them early. GO NUGGETS!

He plays non-stop all year, a couple games rest won't hurt. It's not like it's a suspension for 15 games or even 5 games.

Vince, Kidd, and Jefferson all played 43 minutes last night.
hopefully this plays to our advantage.

Yeah, i think its a good rest for Melo.
Wouldnt mind if he takes the Dallas game off and gives us some fresh legs against NO. Melo always sucks against the Mavs anyways.....I think josh howard shuts him down as well as anyone in the league. Let him sit that one out and come back to destroy Peja.

Yea, lets keep resting Melo. I mean, we're only 4 games out of first in the conference and thats easy to make up... I think resting Melo today can be good because his ankle is messed up and guarding RJ/VC can only make it worst. Sitting him against Dallas is an ABSOLUTELY no-no.

Melo almost always plays like **** against Dallas and josh Howard. If he were ready to go I would bring him off the bench for 15-20 minutes to get some work in, but keep him fresh for the NO game so we have some energy on the back end of the back to back.

Yea, lets bring him back against New Orleans. I mean, he hasn't played in a few days so we should bring him back rusty instead of letting him get his feel back against Dallas. Hey, I don't mind putting all the pressure on A.I. He only has a sprained wrist, lets allow him to even shoot more and try to do to much to pick up the slack for Melo and damage his wrist some more...
