he's something like a healthy chucky atkins. good shooter from the 3pt line if he's open enough. veteran minimum? why not... chucky is out for nearly the whole season so why don't buy a good replacement for less money?

After the Boykins show I tend to shy away from undersized point guards. With AI and Damon in the backcourt wow.

I don't know....the sooner they get this experiment with 2 tiny guards over the better. Bring Damon over. Either it works or it doesn't.

For vets min, I say why not? We don't have a real quality backup guards who can score other than JR, we could use him until Chucky get's back and can actually contribute something to the team and in the playoff push

You guys should find a way to get Sebastian Telfair. I know he isn't any taller than Damon, but he is way younger, and can even be a very good PG one day. His days in Minnesota won't last long, as Randy Foye will most certainly be back to take his starting position, and I think that Telfair will not resign with them after this season.

Telfair = a poor man's AI
I don't have a problem with signing Damon for the vet min. I just don't see him as an answer to, well, anything on the court. He might be a nice voice to be around the team, but I don't think his talent makes us a better team. Like others have said, we already have trouble guarding bigger guards. Bringing Damon would just weaken our weakness.
God, life would be so much easier if AI was just willing to accept the point guard role....

uhh, how do you figure? Kidd is the best defensive pg in the league, imo.
