I am a MN fan but I have seen alot of Denver, and I like the talent. What I want to do is incorporate what Denver fans what from the team. Not just what an outsider wants.
So any suggestions, rumors, movements I would greatly appreciate.

Get a 3 point man and a perimiter defender cough*Artest and Miller*cough

But Miller (I assume you mean Mike) and Artest could not play together.

This team needs two things to be true contender.
-A taller combo guard who can shoot the three, and defend the Kobe's, Manu's etc. of the league. (Who that is and how we get him, I'm not sure)
-Health, primarily in the frontcourt
That's it, maybe a coaching change as well.

Do you people really expect to get both Ron and Mike?
Dreaming can be fun I suppose...

It would be a huge confidence move just to get one of them.
Not that San Antonio would give him up for anyone, but what do you think of getting Manu?

I could be in a position to get Artest or Miller. I have opened talks with both players.
I think the combo guard you are looking for got his #23 retired with the bulls.
What are other rumors/hopes that you guys have? I would rather do this with the insight of the team then just on my own.

Delonte West is one of the best options out there for what we need in a PG right now(tall enough to guard 2 guards, solid defense, good 3pt shooter). It's unlikely Seattle trades him in reality, but he would be what we need.

a true point guard. kidd may be a pipedream in reality...but he could be worth pursuing for you.
shooting. doesn't really matter where it comes from...but we need a lot more of it. perhaps a PF that can step out and spread the floor for melo/iverson. and of course a PG who can hit the 3 semi-consistently.

I agree with you on that. realistically, west is the only player who mostly fits our needs in that area that we have even a remote chance of acquiring.

I want to use a Trade value index. Could someone quickly put the players in each division? This is easier for me to know who the Nuggets have available in trades.
For an example I will give you a current wolves one.
THE PLEASE CALL US DIVISION:
15. Gerald Green: Not getting playing time. Wants to be traded. Not likely to be re-signed.
14. Michael Doleac
13. Mark Madsen: No one's interested and while the team likes him, he's not getting any run and is an easy to move contract.
12. Greg Buckner: With Foye set to come back and seeing time at off guard, Buckner's dwindling minutes disappear. Should have some interest from a playoff team needing a good vet and some perimeter D.
THE WE WON'T GIVE THEM AWAY FOR A BAND CONTRACT, BUT WE'RE LISTENING DIVISION:
11. Antoine Walker: Has played better than hoped and has been a good leader, but easily parted with.
10. Marko Jaric: If his contract was less $ or years, they'd probably be more inclined to keep him.
9. Chris Richard: They like him, but would listen if an offer came that made sense.
8. Craig Smith: Great role player, but with the current lineup and likelihood of Walker staying not a great fit and likely to leave this offseason.
THE WE'RE PROBABLY NOT CONSIDERING IT DIVISION:
7. Rashad McCants: Management might be considering it, but it'd have to be a good deal.
6. Sebastian Telfair
5. Corey Brewer
THE YOU'D HAVE TO KNOCK OUR SOCKS OFF DIVISION:
4. Theo Ratliff: This is contract only. If there was a no-brainer deal we'd look at it, but more likely going to let him expire and save some $.
3. Ryan Gomes: His trade value is high, but his value to the team is higher.
2. Randy Foye
THE WE'RE NOT EVEN RETURNING YOUR CALLS DIVISION:
1. Al Jefferson
I know this is a lot, but it would really help.

please call us:
kenyon martin
chucky atkins
steven hunter
we're listening:
jr smith
eddie najera
nene
(ac/khouba/wafer probably belong here too)
probably not considering:
kleiza
camby
knock socks off:
iverson
not returning call:
melo (unless cleveland or orlando are on the line)
that's the way i'd look at it.

Interesting, would any of you guys be interested in a move for Joe Johnson involving Iverson? What kind of incentive if any would you want? I was offered it this morning. He is much younger than AI.

Not sure how different there cap numbers are....but I'd consider it, and depending on the other players involved in the trade, most likely do it. 2 guards with size that can stroke it, are a rarity. I've always thought Johnson would fit well with our team, we were never able to make it happen though.

JJ is having a pretty mediocre season (for him), whereas Iverson is having one of his best statistically. I don't think I would do it, unless something was added to JJ.

There would be fillers from both sides.
If I am able to Get kidd would you rather have AI or JJ next to him?

I'd take JJ due to his height, he can defend the 2, while AI and JKidd can't defend the 2, because of their height. Plus he can step up and make a 3, even if there is a guy on him, but Kidd would distribute the ball quite well for him to take an open shot. So for me, if you got Kidd, I'd rather have JJ over AI.
