It doesn't make since at all. We would be over flooded with injury prone bigs and no backcourt.
The only players I want from the Knicks are Balkman and Lee. Everyone else is garbage.
Edit: The only way this trade makes since is if Kmart is involved. I know the Knicks were interested in him at one point, but I don't know why they would want him now. Then again, I don't know why Knicks do 99% of their moves, so it wouldn't be too shocking.
Still, if Kmart is involved it's a little more bearable. I'd rather have Kmart, but I'd give him up before gutting our bench.
Just for the record, Zach is not an injury prone big. he had Knee surgury 2 or 3 years ago, but his game doesn't depend on lots of jumping so he's not a high risk injury player.
as far as the other stuff you said - I agree, and what's more, NY's got 15 players on the roster. We can't do a 1 for 4 unless we cut 3 players. The rumor says other players would be involved, so, time will tell.
