The Suns continue to pursue several avenues in an attempt to fill their 13th roster spot. And in addition to bringing in four free agents

Phoenix does have a trade exception, obtained in the Kurt Thomas trade, that they can use in any deal.

Diawara really is a decent defender....but should we give him up let's get a knock down shooter. Straight up.

The TE looks nice though. Also, there might be a couple of salary downgrades that would shed a couple mil from the lux. tax.

Diawara will go for a 2nd rounder or Strawberry, but he won't get any playing time anyways...

Why? Whats the point of making a trade like that? We're not gonna trade away a decent young player (who's also the best perimeter defender on the team) just for the sake of making a move.

The team cut a decent yougn energy player just to save a few bucks. So who knows.

Trade him for a first rounder. They will be selling it for 300K on draft day so...

Don't know. I've heard DJ's defense is on par, and offensively he's not challenged (the 3-shooting is not on, but), and he's a combo guard....what we need next to Iverson. Maybe it's an upgrade, maybe it's not. If someone knows more about Strawberry than I do.

56% freethrows
35% from the field
23% from 3
if the suns can't make him shoot well I don't think we have a shot at it.

He D's up better than Diawara and is starting to find his place within the Suns' offense. He's using his dribble penetration to find teammates. He wouldn't be getting close to 12 minutes over the last few games if he wasn't worth spelling Raja Bell. No way the Suns trade him for a guy who is making more but playing less.
