This Season is a Waste

This team won't even make the playoffs at all. I thought we had a chance to win the division if we got Artest but now this team won't even make the playoffs and if they do they will be 8th seed and will get put out very easy. Damn Lakers get better, the Spurs,Jazz, etc all get better in the west. What do we do? Let a fat **** run this team into the ground and veto Artest deal. I hope this fat **** is fired soon. This season isn't even interesting no more.

Was the team guaranteed to be better with Artest or something?
Artest wasn't there at the beginning of the season when the team racked up 33 wins and a 2nd place spot in the division.
Don't overreact to all those big trades.

I'm not sure if Artest would make us that much better, but I know one thing for sure if these two horrible losses came before the deadline, Artest would be here.
But unfortunately we beat Boston, which in a way deceived management into not making a trade.
And just like management and the players I always lied to myself that we've got a chance this year, but I now realize we're an average basketball team that isn

Even Artest, at his best, with no abrasive personality, and perfectly integrated into this team, does not win us a championship.
Personally, I would prefer not trading for Artest and barely missing the playoffs, or being bumped out of the first round. Then, trading for Artest, having him help us, at best, make it to the second round, and having him opt out once the season ends.
But thats just me.

not just you man, most gms felt that way, thats why the trade didn't happen. Even i dont think it should happen, for rockets to give up brooks for a rental of the knucklehead artest.

No GM felt that way and no analyst felt that way. Karl is the only one who felt that way. We`d be guaranteed out the first round is Artest was here and a championship contender and its stupid to even attempt to back up Karl right here. JR>Klieza and thats a fact. JR plays sg which is something we're going to need for the future and thats a fact. We passed up a impact player for a career backup, its no defense in that.

The thing is we don't want to just "put up a fight".
We want to win a championship. Can you say that with this team? No.

So another GM gave up a career backup with an expiring contract, a mid tier prospect, and a late 1st for Artest, did I miss that trade. Or were the Kings only willing to trade with Denver this year? There was a reason that the Kings were willing to take that value in return, and still have Artest and yet he is still with the Kings, and it had nothing to do with Petrie and the Maloofs loving the Nuggets.

Artest is valued so highly, that the best offers for him were Najera/LK/1st, and Aaron Brooks/1st/filler.
That tells ya something. Every GM in the league knew he was a flight risk, and thats exactly why I am glad we made no deal.

Seriously.
Quit bitching and get over it. How many of these threads are you going to make?

No team in the West is guaranteed to make it out of the first round.

Melo4mvp speaks the truth we as fans are tired of everyone in the west getting better and playing at a high level. While we have Nene who is 25 and who will never improve eat season after season come into camp and the season fat and overweight. Why did we give this guy a huge contract? He is only know for having a few decent games against Tim Duncan last year. Oh and don't get me started on Sucky Atkins being paid for nothing.

So you do not agree with nothing I say? Do you like not making the playoffs?

First off, I do not totally agree with what you are saying..
I do agree that management has made a lot of mistakes, concerning the roster. Though I would hardly put the re-signing of Nene and the signing of Atkins as the obvious mistakes (I would say the biggest mistake(s) is not signing a legitimate point guard and/or not signing a player that can stretch the floor consistently, allowing opposing teams to play a simple zone, and beat us).
However, to respond exactly to what you are saying, whether I agree with what you are saying or not, each (or any) "the sky is falling" post(s)/thread(s) on the Nuggets board, do not require a sticky. Which was the point of my comment.
Also, just a quick thing to point out, our playoff chances are decreasing, even exponentially, and as a betting man I would not bet on us making the playoffs. HOWEVER since this recent loss only puts us .5 games out of the playoffs, I find it rather premature to start a "lotto" sticky, or a "season's wasted" sticky or a "I love ron artest"" sticky.
P.S. -
I really do enjoy the thought of missing the playoffs. Thanks for asking.
