Lue sucks at D. 10 day contract first thanks. Getting him might mean that JR completely falls out of the rotation

Lue to back up Carter? What's the point? neither Carter nor Lue are NBA starters.

I believe! You have a source inside the league! Stan Kroenke? Stu Jackson? David Stern? We all want to know which one plays golf and hit the Four Seasons with you!

True Sixers fans should always be grateful to us for the AI trade...

Wow... I'd rather see Lue play than Carter, but not by much.

oh yes, he does...

he does welcome the guy who called himself the iverson stopper, ...
-who was signed by the lakers right before the playoffs to stop A.I. in the finals if the lakers have to face them
-who said he actually IS allen iverson because he prepared himself the whole playoffs to stop A.I. and felt like he is in A.I.s mind (the reason he had braids too  )
-who had to guard iverson in maaaany maaaany possesions
-who held iverson down to 'only' 35.6ppg in that 5 game series!!!
-who took iversons whole anger on him

this was a playoff series i'll never forget. with sooooooooo many trash-talk

i want to see A.I. and Lue jooking around in warmups or locker room as both being nuggets now

I'd rather give Khouba or Taurean Green more minutes than sign another aging, sub-six foot point guard who would just end up taking away time from JR in the long run.

lue sucks at D. I only remember him being pesky against AI, and thats about it. He'll get eaten alive by the bigger guards, period

We actually traded him and Tony Battie to the Lakers for Nick Van Exel the night we drafted him.

I actually wouldnt mind Lue if we cant land Sam. Lue is actually a very solid defender against bigger players and can shoot the ball a little bit. Would actually fit nicely next to AI as he is more of a stay at home defender, to counter AI's tendency to gamble on steels defensively.

Oh and one thing you should also look at about that series, Lue was the one that the eventual Champion Lakers, felt confident in enough to put out there against Iverson.

Another six foot PG! Great! I mean he is probably better than Carter but that isn't saying much. Does our front office have something against PG's with size? :banghead:

There's not many decent taller PGs on the free agents for us to get.

of those of the top of my head the best taller ones available are:
Jeff McInnis
Jared Jordan
Sarunas JAsisomethingsomething (or is he in Europe?)
Gary Payton

... lol
