BOARD RULES - EVERYBODY READ

It has become very apparent that a thread like this needed to be made, and it's frankly a little disappointing. This board, although small in number of people, has always been great for good, intelligent discussion on the Nuggets. The board has always essentially moderated itself, with very little needing to be done in the way of moderating. This is clearly not the case anymore. It's great to have more participation, it's not great to have every thread turn into useless bickering.

I just want to pass along a few notes that everybody needs to take note of:

1) The Player of the Game Thread is ONLY to post your POTG. You shouldn't be posting in that thread unless you're doing it to post your picks (and one post separating games, usually done by a mod). There is no game discussion - you can provide reasoning to your picks, but you don't need to make additional posts. This isn't difficult.

2) Hijacking threads will not be tolerated - there are a select few (you know who you are) who think it's appropriate to make every thread about bickering (about Carmelo Anthony not getting his due, most notably). Cut it out. If your only reason for getting on this board is to bitch and moan about Carmelo Anthony not getting his respect, you're a joke. Some of us have been on this board for some time now, we don't need some joker who joined a few months ago telling us who we're being fair to. Warnings are going to start to be sent out, suspensions and bans if it persists. This kind of garbage ruins this board. Plain and simple. Head over to the ESPN boards if you want to act like an idiot. They already have plenty of them, you'd fit in just fine.

3) Any threads that are only created to incite a fight (such as the one that is locked on the first page right now) are not going to be tolerated. Use some common sense.

It's unfortunate really - there are a ton of solid posters on this board, but the few who act like children are making it difficult to enjoy discussion on here. **** is going to change. If you can't act like something of an adult, then you will be treated as such. I, nor corona, enjoy handing out warnings/asking for suspensions, but this board is being driven into the ground, and it's not going to be tolerated.

i dont think the trolls were the problem. I dont mind a troller coming in and hearing a mouthful from the site members. Its actually a couple of board members that were the problem. I think thats what who this post is referring to.

its against rgm rules to post in all caps
you offered no link to what you were talking about or even attempted to start a discussion about what you were referring to.
there's a thread about ron artest 1 post down from yours, and we're playing sacramento...so to post in the game thread is also an option.
the thread title is misleading. he thinks denver would have been better if he were here....of course he does. that doesn't mean he's making fun of us. what's he supposed to say...he'd make us worse.

Everybody should take notice that MELO4MVP is gone. We're serious about this guys. We, and we think the vast majority of the board, are sick of people hijacking threads, starting fights for no reason, and generally not following the rules.
