......the last couple weeks

I read most of the game threads but dont post much here, because yall are hilarious the way yall argue and bicker about the lamest things. But thats how most team sites are, so a nuetral site is better....anyway....

Melo seems like he is finally learning the game, and not jus playin for numbers. He is not forcing wild fade-awys over the double team anymore. He is not holding the ball being a ballstopper and continually lookin for his oppurtunity, instead he is moving the ball to the open man. He is a big reason for KMart steady improvement. The offense is lookin much better and more fluid because of this. And against GS, he even played very solid defense.

Kudos to Melo....

Props to melo, he hasn't forced anything lately and has improved his all around game and it's translating into wins, hopefully he'll continue his fine play and the team will continue to thrive from this.

Yes, Melo has been playing great lately. Seems like he's more focused on the objective at hand and the overall big picture, to win. He's been letting the game come to him and making great decisions lately. I also hope it continues, because when he plays focused and determined, the Nuggets are hard to beat.

This is my first post on the Nuggs board. I have been reading posts on RealGM for about 4 years now and i finally decided to start posting on here. I am a huge Nuggets fan.

I agree that Melo is definately having a big breakthough this year. When he sets his mind to it he definately could be one, if not the best O-rebounder in the league. (especially with some of the teams questionable shot selection and Karl's somewhat strange rotations.) He has the height, weight, strenght and hops to kill most of his competition around the hoop.

When Melo gets that big grin on his face and hustles after it he can look like one of the best Offensive talents in the league. I just wish he would see that when he commits to rebounding and even gives an average defensive effort this team is unstoppable. I think i heard Scott hastings say on the fan one time that when Melo smiles like that it reminds him of Magic Johnson when he would get that same smile on his face and just play Lights out.

I can always tell when Melo is slacking on certain nights when he is the last one on the team to get back to the defensive end. He needs to realize he is a much bigger guy than most SF's on both ends (not just offensively) and start smashing people on both sides.

(Lets hope the Nuggs can catch Phoenix offgaurd tonite and also wear them down tomorrow here and snag both of these to give us a better shot at that 7 spot)

I just wish that the refs would show melo a little more respect...we all admire the way ai goes hard to the rim and gets to the line, well melo does the same thing but doesn't get the calls.melo's not afraid of contact and he get's plenty while banging for offensive rebounds but you guessed it he never get the calls that wade and bron get...add ai to that list as a matter of fact.
trust me...i know what the hell i'm talking about!

I admire Melo in the last two minutes of the game in the Suns game... great rebounding... that's showing you want to win, that's showing the heart.

I wish I don't need to say this every game because of his tendency to take nights off... but I guess I will.

I hope Melo proves me wrong and be a consistent and feisty rebounder. It will also help with his game intensity overall.

Right now he is starting to see the big picture better. You can have tunnel vision if you can never get your game started because of lame calls.....seems like everyone and everything is against you.....but Melo is starting to see the big picture.
