Well its not like he is here just now! But, like he is husting himself since forever, its good to see you notice!

I just want to see a one season "injury free" for Nene, just one!

Nene is a great strong player. I don't know why he didn't play more in the PHX game, but he is a great player for you guys. He used to start before the injury, but now I think he should work his way up these last few games and get a lot of minutes off the bench.

We didn't play him more because he was hurting...

I have been wanting the same thing for 3 seasons. I hope it happens next year, and I hope it happens with the Nuggets because the talent has always been there. The health hasn't.

I'm sorry but a SportsCenter dunk doesn't convince me he's better than Powe.

Yes, he's better in terms of talent... but give me a guy who goes out there every night, works his tail off on both ends, gives 110%, plays defense, takes charge, plays dirty, doesn't stare pose after every dunk and get the hell back on defense...

Nene is an unbeliveable talent but if it translates to injury-riddled career, out of shape every beginning of season, 12 and 6 rpg career, showing little passion for the game... just give me the other guy who puts 10 and 9 but shows durability for the next steady 12 years.

It's like choosing Stromile Swift over PJ Brown. Stro is more talented but PJ has a better career... and he was an important key player.

Who is the 10 and 9 guy? It certainly isn't Powe, not yet anyways, maybe someday, but today isn't someday. It is funny how you picked PJ for your example considering the celtics recently signed him, and he is probably going to take Powe's minutes away from him once the playoffs begin.

^PJ is there to be more like a mentor to him.

Why would you pick a talented player who isn't keen on becoming a better player... poses after every "did you see now what I can do?" dunk... misses games, is tough to provoke fights but isn't tough enough to play a second half of an important game, isn't a smart player.

Powe is a hard worker and a dirty player. He's tough in a sense he doesn't back down to anything. He plays defense, takes charge and you know he's going to be there every night. With Nene, maybe it's very good night, but maybe 10 and 4, and maybe he's hurting and cannot play.

Powe plays with heart... I really want to see someone saying Nene plays with heart.

THE GUY JUST CAME BACK FROM CANCER, WITHIN THE SAME YEAR HE WAS DIAGNOSED. Does someone who doesn't have a big heart for the game do that, NO. Powe isn't even remotely close to Nene. End of conversation.

I will say it. I think it took a lot of character and heart for Nene to come back and play in another game this season. Hell, I bet Leon Powe would even say it. I can see jumping on Nene's case for comming into the season out of shape, but not for something of this nature.

If Powe is so good, how come he only plays in half of the celtics games? He gets a lot of those DNPCD's I guess Scalabrine is pretty hard to beat out for the extra games and minutes.

If he's playing with cancer then he shouldn't have played. Take a season off. Don't muscle up when the camera gets up close in the first half and show the medical note in the second half.
