... from "what is Karl doing letting him shoot threes?!!???"
to
"yes, Najera taking a three pointer.... this will go in!!!"
I think so...

37% on the season is pretty good.
i still get a hesitant feeling everytime i see eddie launch one up though.

^^ Exactly. I still get a little jittery; I feel a lot more confident with Kleiza taking them.

I only close my eyes when eddie take his 3's from the wings but if it's top of the key or in those corner pockets I yell out Buckets!
we need to bring eddie back next season...he said that he`s willing to stay for less money!

I was very critical early in the season of Najera's new found propensity to shoot the long ball. But I must admit, he has been hitting them at a very good clip all year, and that has helped spread the floor tremendously.
One thing I like about his shots, is that they are almost always good looks. Unlike Jr/Klieza/AI/Melo who are all prone to take ill advised threes, Najera only shoots them when he is wide open. I think thats in large part why his percentage is so high.
Its great to see too, because we have needed one of our bigs to step up and start draining the long ball, the guards can't do it all.

Love Eddie, except for when hes getting too many minutes and guarding Shaq.
Nene needs to take the minutes that he plays at C.

Anytime I see him open at the 3 point line, I'm yelling for him to take it.

I think that is a pretty good point about Najera. He tends to take his 3 point shots within the flow of the offense. The thing I hate most about him taking the 3's is that it has taken away from other things that he used to do so well for us. He still cuts and moves without the ball, but not nearly as often as he did before he was looking to spot up. Plus, when he is on the floor he is usually out there at the 4 or the 5, and if he is spotting up from 3 that means one less big body inside to grab a rebound. 37% for the season is nothing to laugh about though.

I'm actually fairly confident when he lets one loose, as he's generally wide open, and we likely won't get a better shot.
Marcus Camby taking any shot on the floor, however, makes me cringe. Last night's shot against Phoenix had me screaming at the TV until it went in.

Oh God, Camby absolutely TERRIFIES me when he lets them fly. If you see this 7 footer (who isn't Dirk) defensive specialist shooting 20-foot jumpers; that'll make anyone nervous.

I yell out "money" when Najera takes a 3.

I think he's really progressed
I used to think when he launched one: "oh god, I can't believe he shoots another one!"
If it goes in, "phew, make sure Karl doesn't let him shoot another one"
If it clanks, "what's he doing shooting threeess???"
---
Now, if it goes in, "YES!!!!"
If it clanks, "too bad he should have made it."
