There was an article in the Denver Post about the injury on April the 9th.

I think everyone on the team is still hopeful from the way the article reads that we can get him back in time and get him around 15 minutes a night.

I hate to be bearer of bad news but it doesnt look like he's coming back anytime soon according to this article.

NENE FRUSTRATED

Nene missed his third straight game with a groin strain and doesn't seem close to returning.

"It's going to be hard," said Nene, who said his injury hasn't improved much. "I don't want to be injured for the summer. . . . The last three days, I can't walk. . . . I've been in the (hotel) room. . . . I don't want to mess it up anymore."

Nene missed 2 1/2 months because of testicular cancer. He was hurt in his fourth game back.

"It's frustrating being so long off the court and then (getting hurt)," said Nene, who said facing top competition again was hard because he's "not Superman."

They might have to rest him until playoff time if we make it.

He wants to be healthy for the summer? WTF? I guess the doughnut shops are a good distance apart. Well, at this rate I hope he gets healthy and comes back strong next year.
