Congrats on the Nuggets making the playoffs but dont you guys think if we had Artest and he was guarding Kobe it would make the Nuggets chances better in this series?

Yes, especially if LK and Najera come up real small and GK insists on Carter guarding him. We'll see though.

In a lot of ways YES. But then again if we were to get into foul trouble up front, and Najera and Kleiza are gone, who comes off of the bench? Nene isn't ready to log heavy minutes and GK won't use Hunter. What would it have done to the development of JR and his minutes because once again he would probably be the odd guy out in the rotation.

What if we would have done the other deal that was out there?

If we would have traded JR for Delonte West, which at the time seemed like a good deal because JR wasn't being played. Would we even be in the playoffs right now? I am glad the sonics sent him to the cavs instead with the way that things worked out.

So far it looks like GK made the right decision by keeping his turkey eating buddies (character guys) on the team. Najera has been playing some great basketball off of the bench for us.

I wanted to see a trade made at the deadline but the best move we made was keeping J.R. He's got more talent than any of the players we'd get in return.

Dead horses are worthless anyway. I'll bring the baseball bat.

If we had Artest, we wouldn't be the 8th seed. With that said, Nugs in 6

you will all eat crow when the vanilla gorilla single handedly shuts down kobe, while dropping in 35 points on 10/13 shooting.

35 on 10/13 shooting? If those are all 3s (hah 10!) thatd be 30 points than 5 points off randomn fts? Quite unlikely...

I was the first one who wanted Artest on this team, (Kleiza+Najera seemed a steal) but I'm glad to see that the last month we went on runs with AI, JR, KLEIZA & NAJERA on the floor game after game.

I still want Artest, but Kleiza and Najera have played good enough (usual stats aren't flashy, but look at the +/-). Maybe we would have won a couple more games with Artest, and maybe he could be the Kobe stopper, but since the whitey couple has been very valuable on big wins, I won't cut my veins yet...

Artest wasn't hood enough for the Nuggs anyway. Not enough tats.

You used green font. So does that mean you actually think it's likely? :P

Ron would be the medicine of the many problems the Nuggets are currently having.

I would love to have Artest to guard elite swing men like *Cough* Kobe in the playoffs. But what do I know?

Artest would not have won us this series. Maybe it would have been a little closer, but when the gameplan, the intensity and the sense of urgency are all flawed to begin with, he would not have won us this series.

I am happy he never came here, because he would be playing his last game in a Nuggets jersey in a couple days anyway.
