ok... it's very unlikely that a player of pick #20 will get the start, or any significant minutes... so forget about any players that will jump straight into the starting lineup (unless we draft up).

Draft Express - Marreese Speights, 6"10, PF/C, 20yo
NBAdraft - Donte Greene, 6"10, SF/PF, Syracuse, 20yo

so what should do with the pick?

Trade it in a package and go into "Win Now Mode" (not that we aren't already in it).

Trade Up? And hope for someone like Russell Westbrook who would be a nice fit.

AC says we could use a low-post scorer, so maybe draft one? or rely on Nene.

Fans say that we need a PG to play with AI... but the best PGs that would likely fall to 20 is Ty Lawson and DJ Augustine who are 5"11 midgets.

Or just draft the best available.

Green is a stud, there's no way there are 19 players
in this draft more talented than him. If we get him

Speights is a soft defender but has GREAT hands and jumpshot for a big man(mid range) He can get out on the break and finish well with the guards but he is still soft. Here at UF everyone sees him as soft as I said before but he will be a decent big in the NBA, better than S. Hunter

well it's more than obvious that the nuggets should either go pg or pf/c...like one guy mentioned"we won't get the type of pg we need at 20"and I don't think a late 1st rd pick would be the best option for denver and the bunch we have.

I myself would go pf/c...look to trade camby for a player(pg)and a 2nd or 1st if we're lucky.I would like to see if portland would bit on a camby for jack/pick or jack/joel priesbilla(sp).it's no secret that portland has a log jam at pg and jack may be the odd man out and I like joel's rebounding and shotblocking but most of all he's a hard nose tough guy.camby could mentor ogden and add some veteran leadership to a very young team.


as far as the draft goes,maybe thhey could look at one of the lopez twins(haven't seen much of them but they always say you can't teach size)!hibbert might be an option due to his falling stock although it's unlikely for him to drop that far.

a postman is the nuggets biggest need...it would be nice to see the offense go from inside out for a change cause everything they do starts and majority of the time ends on the perimeter.nene will be that optin if healthy but i'm done depending on nene.

Did I really just hear someone say we should take Jack back from Portland? All credibility just went out the window on that one.

I think Javale Mcgee or Kosta Koufos would be a solid pick @ #20


Both very skilled big's but both are pretty soft right now and are long term projects but they have bigtime potential and actually bring a post presense to this offense aside from Nene who is always hurt.

I see Kostas being a poor mans Dirk, at the very best.. Definitely not worht a first round pick and hes not what we really need right now.

I have heard some rumors that Kevin Love might fall out of the lottery... If we could trade up and get a steal, maybe our first and next years second to get up a couple spots and grab him. I think he would be a perfect fit for us right now. Plus we could get rid of Camby and start establishing an actual inside post game.

Otherwise we gotta get a PG somehow out of this draft, and Ty Lawson I think is the best fit if we're gonna continue to run this dreadful, unorganized, fast paced, chaotic offense.

I saw GS fans in favor of a deal like that before, and Nellie loves Camby. Then the Nuggets might get lucky and Love could drop, doubtful, or could trade both 1sts to move up and get him, maybe?

You think so? with his age and lack of offense? He might be able to bring a little more back...but not much...maybe 2 boardline starters or a role player and a mid to low 1st rounder...not much more than that...or maybe a would be starter with health questions.

I would really like Anthony Randolph he tall and can handle the rock, can shoot and with the right coaching can be a point forward type to set up Melo and AI.

I doubt randolph falls out of the lottery, I would love that pick though

PG, we got 2 PF's already, the hell we gonna do with a 3rd guy. Besides NBA draft isn't as strong as NFL's, so I don't see the pg making a big impact on the team right away.

He declared, but hasnt hired an agent. I would be surprised if he dropped out because he's a first round pick and its not like another year is really gonna get this guy in the top 10 or too much more than his stock is now.

As for Kostas I think he falls way too in love with his outside game, especially when he gets bigger bodies in the paint with him. He tends to gravitate to his home at mid-range and three point when scoring on the inside is too tough for him. Obviously with his weight he's not going to be able to dominate the inside game, so were gonna see him turn into a Bargnani unless he gets beefier, (not very likely to happen).

When he's faced to the basket is where he could thrive at getting to the hoop because he is very quick for his size, but his backing down skills will be exploited in the worse way possible for him.

Kostas might be nice but we need a beefed up PF... Caracter... Maybe, his off the court issues definitely fit in with our team lol, I just dont think a guy with limited experience and a troubled past is worth taking at the 20th pick

Koufos is not a back to the basket player

he is not a good defender

he's basically Memhet Okur allover again

how's that gonna help us, a team who can't defend

a guy like Joey Dorsey would fit alot better imo

in the same breath you are overateing what camby can bring back.camby is a soon to be 35 yr old injury prone center who completely ran out of gas to end the season cause he's not use to playing that many games.

it's obvious that you don't understand the the business side of this sport if you believe that your going to get much more than those type of players and or picks!take the the powder blue and gold glasses off and get a clue.

My thoughts exactly and where we are picking it is more likely to get the low post scorer then it will be to get a big pg.
