I really thought one of them would be on for sure. I guess not.

Why don't they deserve it? They both had great individual seasons and arguably the best of their careers. I honestly thought one of them would make the 3rd team. I'm a little suprised that both got snubbed.

We had the top 3 runner ups... Kinda weak. In particular Iverson who had one of the best years of his career but for some reason, no one noticed what so ever. meh.

Oh well, we're used to this type of decisions.
Yao Ming made it?

that's exactly what i was thinking... :nonono: doesn't make any sense. That surprised me for sure but the fact that no nugget made it didnt exactly surprise me.

You think Camby deserved it more than Yao?

Looking at the list of players that were chosen, it's hard to argue that Carmelo and Iverson deserved to be there any more than the rest of them.

The Rockets were better than the Nuggets without Yao. That's why T-Mac made an all NBA team, he doesn't put up empty stats. I can't even imagine what McGrady would do if he was on a team as stacked as the Nuggets.

It's a different game when you don't see doubles from half court down.

Obviously the rockets were better then the nuggets without Yao....because in a must win game the rockets only got beat by what?...20 points by the nuggets.....better teams usually get smacked in must win games on the regular. You're no better then us untill somebody actually gets to the 2nd round. T-mac is as one dimensional as AI and Melo.....You ask what would T-mac do on the nuggets? My guess is smoke weed, have a lazy eye, not play d (since he doesn't now), and be a volume scorer.....and not make it to the 2nd round.

I think any help Iverson has provided is not readily apparent.

All though we have lots of guys with talent, no one had a breakaway year as an individual. Yet the team did not have a breakaway year as a team. If the results had spoken for themselves, Melo or AI easily could have picked it up. No results, no individual bests = no All-NBA

While we know he is a spark-plug and keeps the team going, no one noticed.

I hoped AI would get on the third team. Doesn't mean I was surprised to find him not on it...
Oh well, there's always next year.

Iverson played 82 games while leading the NBA in minutes played, had more ppg, apg, better FG% then Tracy Mcgrady while adding 2 steals per game... Mcgrady only played 66 games and started 62. there is no way Tmac deserves it over AI, sorry.

and stop acting Like Denver is some stacked team, we had horrible pg play and no big gave us a post presense aside from Nene's 15 or so apperences.

^^^ Yao Ming made the list and he missed games when they mattered the most, so the logic behind picking these teams is skeptical at best.

Well i'm going to say that both of them deserved to be on the lists. I'm confused on how they go about selecting these things at this point. Is it by individual statistics or team wins or what? Because statistically...i'm not sure if Paul Pierce has been better then Carmelo this year. Boston has had a great season, thats for sure. But again, what are these based on?

Iversons stats are better then Manus, T-Macs, Steve Nash and D-Wills. All of them are deserving, yes, but it seems as if people have a different set of rules depending on which player it is. I would keep Nash and D-Will (i'm happy D-Will is getting some love because it seems as if everyones focus is on CP3 right now), but Manu or Tracy could be replaced. It's just strange to see a player like AI that has been on these lists for so many seasons, never had a problem making them before... and then just barely miss it. Oh well, the lists are made already and its done...no need crying over spilt milk. Good luck to them next season.

It seems about team wins to me. 2 players each from the Celtics, Spurs, Jazz, Rockets and Suns. Then 1 each from the Lakers, Hornets, Magic and Mavs. Then Lebron. The Pistons had the 2nd best record in the league and the voters decided no one deserved it on that team, but 2 from every other team. Go figure.

Yeah that Pistons situation got me too. The Pistons get no love. :nonono: They are probably the most underappreciated team in the league.
