Interested in AI for Hinrich, Hughes, Aaron Gray, #9 pick?

I'm a Bulls fan just throwing this out there, as I'd liek the Bulls to roll the dice with an aging but still effective AI. I thought you guys may like it as Kirk is a good PG to play off of a true star primary ball handler (Melo) which he has never had in Chicago. He's a good 3 pt shooter and a great defender who had an off year. He's on a decreasing contract too which is nice. The #9 pick could add another complimentary piece for you guys on a very cheap contract and Larry Hughes allows you to have more flexibility with Smith (you could trade him instead of resign him).

Obviously AI is the best player here btu he's aging and didn't win with Melo. Seeing as how Melo is much younger, maybe it's better to surround him with complimentary pieces, which Kirk and hopefully the #9 are perfect for.

Thoughts?

My thoughts:

I agree that Kirk is a good PG, but some times he looks great and other times he is inconsistant, which fits the Nuggets style. The decreasing contract adds intrigue, but depending on what i stated earlier, im hesitant.
The #9 pick could add another complimentary piece for you guys

Only thing that truly makes this work.

Larry Hughes allows you to have more flexibility with Smith (you could trade him instead of resign him).

And really, they don't want to get rid of smith, they would in all reality take this and package maybe the #20 and Hughes, add in Martin or Camby and make another trade to move up and have two high picks or add some PG depth.

In all reality, I could see a Camby (or Martin) w/ AI in exchange for #9, Kirk and Tyrus Thomas. Makes both teams better, denver younger and more talented and more of a team, and gives chicago instant credibility in the east, but only if they were to resign Gordon and or deng

Denver:
Kirk
Smith
Melo
Ty Thomas
Nene/K Mart

Chicago:
AI
Gordon
Gooden/Hughes/Noah
Deng
Camby

and it works out for both.

Why would Denver take on hughes. Hinrich had a bad year and is inked long term. Hughes is a bad contract. Iverson is better than both combined and his deal is almost up. Bad talentwise and salarywise. Only good thing is the #9 but that wont turn this denver team around

Yeah I'd do that.

Hinrich and Hughes' contracts are kind of long but the #9 sure helps swallow that.
