Denver Offer

Would you guys be inclined to the following type of offer from NY?

Marbury
Lee
#6

Carmelo
Camby
#20

Denver will get almost $22 Million in Expirings, and a high Lotto Pick in a VERY deep draft, and a great young Frontcourt Prospect. This will defenitely expedite a rebuilding process (combined with Iverson and atkins that would give you over $55 Million in Expirings), and it's a fair deal for both sides.

That deal isn't really close to fair. Our counter offer would be to substitute Iverson for Carmelo and add Rose from your side for salary purposes. That is something that I think we would have to strongly consider.

carmelo alone is worth a lot more than marbury, lee, and the #6.

there's nothing else I'd consider worth any value on the knick's roster.

Sorry, but that is not even close to being fair for Denver.

Melo is not a salary Denver needs to or should dump (nor are they looking to move him). Moving him for a "great young" prospect is silly when he is a great young proven player. Camby is not a problem contract wise. Denver could move him easy if they just wanted to dump his contract. And Denver needs to include their pick too?

Be the worst trade in NBA history, no offense.

Exchange Iverson for Melo, and it might be fair. As is, its horrible value for one of the best young players in the league.
