He got shipped out of Detroit, so let's ship him in and ship Karl out on Express Mail to the Red Sea or something...

And you think Karl is a bad coach? Hell Flip is truly bad, and cannot seem to get along well with too many strong personalities (look at his rocky relationship with the wallace's) and you think he would do better here? That team should have been playing for a championship in one of the last four years, hell look at how dominant they were before Flip got there, he did nothing to help what was the most talented team in the eastern conference over the last 4 years.

At least he coaches during a game... when he got the right talent, he can bring a team to where it's supposed to be... Minny to WCF and if it were not Cassell hurting, they could beat the Lakers.
He's one of the best in X and Os... especially on offense. Defensively, I'd give him a 7/10. But after Detroit experience, it should be an 8/10.

Maybe this is mean, but it was amusing.
Its like Snake didn't even read what Rebel said.
Hell no to flip. The Pistons can be just as up and down as the Nuggets, and we don't need another coach who under achieves with the talent he has. If Flip couldn't get that team to the Finals out of the East, how does he have better results in the West with the Nuggets?

Flip would definitely be an upgrade over Karl, and imo would be able to handle the many egos on this team. I've read that he's also very open to input from players and assistant coaches.
As for underachieving with the Pistons, I disagree. If it were not for Rasheed and Prince choking the last two seasons in the ECF, they would have been in the Finals at least once these past two seasons. Also it isn't really fair to compare the Pistons team from before Flip got there to now because the team lost a lot of it's edge defensively after losing Wallace. And the one year he had Wallace, they lost in the ECF to the eventual NBA champs.
On top of all that, Flip's Pistons teams have been far better offensively than any coached by either Brown or Carlisle. Also one of the biggest components missing in Denver's offense was one of the main components of Detroit's, bringing players (Iverson, Melo, JR) off screens for open jump shots. All that said, I definitely think he would vastly improve Denver's offense.

I think if George Karl would have been fired it would have been pretty soon after our playoff embarrassment, and it would have been a knee-jerk reaction. Now that everything's settled down and I've actually come to terms with the fact that George is our coach, I'm 100% positive their wont be a coaching change.

he can bring a team where its suppose to be? aside from this year he lost to lesser talented teams in the eastern conference finals and was outcoached by two mediocre coaches at best in Mike Brown and Doc Rivers, the guys a great regular season coach... when it comes to the playoffs hes an absolute joke in my opinion.
