for some reason the updating of the board software deleted some random announcements...and it looks like the one that contained the link to the predictions contest is gone.

it also looks like all threads prior to january 1st were deleted (if you surf back through the pages, it stops at page 16 with a post on january 2nd)

:banghead:

sorry guys.

You guys just did not want me to win once again. I sense a conspiracy almost like the refs against the Nuggets.

I guess we'll just chalk this one up as a W for me then, huh guys?

I was thinking you probably finished very close to last, just like last year. Of course thats what happens when you start watching the office.

Psht, you wish. I seem to remember doing well in one of the two from last year.

BTW - this wasn't lost during the forum upgrade. corona saw the opening to use it as an excuse, as he knew his near last place finish wouldn't be looked kindly upon, so he did a quick little delete.

So which of you two actually was last? We all know you both have been a little busy watching some boring comedy to pay attention to the NBA this year, good thing you guys had the perfect excuse to get rid of the evidence.

Melo had to be the guy that came in last with that bonehead 60 win prediction :banghead:

this mod gig finally came in handy.

.

on a serious note, i remember doing an optimistic version on this forum, and all pessimistic predictions on nuggetstalk. thus i'm pretty confident i did horribly on this one, and pretty darn well over at NT.

I think I was fairly pessimistic, which bodes well for me. I remember Rebel raving at that time about how the Nuggets would get the #1 seed, Allen Iverson would lead the league in scoring and assists, and George Karl would win coach of the year.

Sorry man, didn't happen.

You got me, I lost my mind for a second, of course I deleted those predictions because they matched both of your predictions too closely, and put what I truly thought. Of course we all know that you had to make it all disappear as non of us could of heard the crying of a certain group of fans, that hate the fact that I actually know what I am talking about, both with the Nuggets and with horrible comedies.

Horrible comedies... weak. What's a good comedy on TV?

So you are 1 and 1, that is a much better post season in comparison to GK.

Well since the Nuggets season is over, these days I get a good laugh watching the debates and people in the crowds falling for the same old lines delivered in a different way. Other then that I try not to watch enough tv to worry about it.

I think I predicted 53 wins. Oh well, we're in the playoffs, no huge injuries, and we've got second seed. I'm not sure anyone predicted 2nd seed.

Did anyone predict all West playoff teams having 50 wins? If someone told you that in pre-season, what would your prediction for Nuggets have been then?

When I went back and found this thread, I was trying to find the prediction thread, but overlooked it somehow. I know I missed the best record, I picked the Magic, and I know I got the first coach to be fired correct (PJ Carlisimo). Other than that, I doubt I have much of a chance

also...what team had the longest losing streak of the season?

and boston had the longest winning streak, right?

.

nobody had nuggets finishing second. meloivey was closest with 3rd.

OKC with 14? Can anybody find a longer losing streak?
Boston appears correct (19).

Coaches fired:

PJ was first.
