Livingston? AI?

I think if we can pick Livingston up and wait it out until he's healthy, it would be a steal. As far as trading AI, no thanks. I think if we can use the trade exception or a first rounder to get another talented big, we do it, then re-sign AI to a less expensive contract at the end of the year. JR will be resigned, as will Kleiza.. I'll miss Camby, but having Nene start is better for our future.

Future lineups?

LIvingston (24)/Chucky/AC, AI/JR(23)/Jones, Melo(23)/Kleiza(23)/Weems, Kenyon (29)/Balkman(25?), Nene (24)/Hunter/Anderson

wow. I like that squad a LOT. Thoughts?

I certainly like the idea of having Livingston running PG if he's healthy enough....

I would love to see Livingston get a shot here. A tall, athletic, DEFENDING, point guard to compliment AI, and I agree that once healthy, he could be a steal. Not to mention Steve Hess' miracle work with knee injuries.

I'd like to see Livingston given a shot too. If he can get healthy and return to form and continue to develop as a player, he'd be a real nice steal.

Him and JR would make for a nice tall backcourt. It'll drive Karl insane, lol.

Livingston is a huge question mark, why would we trade Kleiza for him? Especially, since Livingston is a FA, so we would essentially be trading Kleiza in an effort to sign Livingston long-term in a sign-and-trade, which would be insane.

I'm not so sure Livingston will be that good of a defender.. after having the injury he did you would have to think he lost a step of quickness and some lateral movement..
