Well rounded scoring from Nuggets - everyone who played scored, and 7 were in double digits.

That team will be quite nice in a few years if their players all develop as projected.

Thing is, our lineup should be fine for a short time if Martin needs to heal up a bit. We have Anderson, Balkman, Melo, Kleiza, JR that can all shift up/down the lineup - and soon possibly Howard. The main thing is Billups gets going and we start seeing some crispness on the plays that's been lacking. There is definitely energy.

The one thing I want to see is more anticipating on where the ball is going t be on a rebound and/or deflection, and more instant hustle when that happens. We've actually seen quite a few plays like that but we've also seen an increase in the number of hustle plays the other teams are making.

The idea should be to "out"-hustle the opponent, not just show hustle.

This just proves how thin we are unfront, we need to trade some of our junk for one possibly throw kleiza in there as well. We don't need an all star big just a solid one will do.

I think kleiza or smith might start tonight in place of kmart if he can't play, if smith starts melo will be moved down to power forward position.

Let's just hope we don't take them easy and take care of business on our home court to get the Team gelling.

What about Samb? That guy's huge.

We're not as thin on the front line as in past years. We have Anderson, Balkman (I think he can cover the bigs), Howard hopefully, Nene, K-Mart and Melo is our SF so we always have size there.

If we want to go big-big there's always Anderson/Nene, Samb/Nene, Anderson/Samb - and we're talking just size on size.

Granted it is not as deep as we might want it, but when has Karl ever kept a huge front line out there anyway? He's still plugging Carter in with Billups, leaving the other positions tiny.

We gave up Najera and Camby on our front line....gained/re-gained Nene/Anderson/Balkman/Samb/K-Mart.

We just need K-Mart to be more solid, and Nene to keep bringing it and Anderson to fill the Camby gap. The depth of our front line is more based on the performance of our starters, because then you can really rely on just the one or two men behind them.

The problem is i doubt karl is going to play samb at all let alone him breaking into the rotation, and balkman hasn't been getting many minutes and i think his strengh on defense is against the wing player. Chris andersen is way too thin and can't take playing the bigger guys in the league, i forgot was it the clippers game or lakers game but he got owned by those guys.

If we get juwan back that should help alot but i think we need another big starter quality.

Sometimes I like to catch the other teams pregame show, and tonight I caught the Grizzlies. They gave some thoughts and information on the Billups trade and asked Billups a few questions.

I don't know their announcers names, but one of them said that he thinks the Nuggets get better with the trade and that Melo will benefit. They asked Quinton Ross what he thought of the Nuggets since they have traded Camby and AI, he said they were still good and plenty dangerous.

The question the guy asked CB was if he will miss Detroit. He said no, that chapter of his life is behind him and he is glad to be back in Denver. He said that what he is focusing on now is getting used to his new team.

I see Kleiza is getting the start in place of Kmart. I hope Kleiza breaks out of the funk he has been in tonight.
