Damn... we're really thin now... I'd like to see Howard come back or if we can acquire a steal in a trade.

Memphis seems to have boatloads of bigs... would they trade Marc Gasol to us for Linas Kleiza... I'll so frickin do that trade. Or Darrell Arthur + future first round for Kleiza... that wouldn't be bad at all.

Ouch 2-3 weeks, I agree we do need a big that can grab boards for us, on a side note I do love the fact that balkman was getting minutes tonight and made a good impact.

I don't see us making a trade unless we trade equal contract for equal contract. We are still slightly about the luxury tax even after the Mcdyess buyout. I would be happy with them bringing back Juwan for starters.

damn.

i guess we'll see more Balkman... but he wouldn't be ideal against the bigger forward such as KG, Ben Wallace/Igauskas etc etc.

im not sold on Samb... nor Howard.

super small ball run them down ftw.

Howard's a guarantee. I have a hard time seeing them making a trade for another big - I'd just expect more Balkman and Kleiza at the 4. Ouch.

Man, he wasn't even playing that well and this kills us. Now we've got no shooting guards or big men. We're just Forwards and Point Guards.

I don't think anyone expected Samb to get much playing time but here's his chance. It'd really be nice if he could break out and give us some production.

McDyess was placed on waivers Monday after he and the Nuggets officially finalized his buyout agreement, but the team has no immediate plans to fill its final roster spot despite mounting injuries in the front court.

Because the Nuggets have trimmed payroll within shouting distance of the luxury-tax threshold, there are no current plans to re-sign Howard, according to an NBA source.

I can already see the cringe-worthy "small ball" lineup:

Chauncey
AC
Melo
LK
Balkman

I really hope we can use on of our exceptions to bring in another big body. I wouldn't be opposed to trying to get Joe Smith back.

Think LA would have any interest in a trade exception?

At least Nene's leading the NBA in FG% as of today. 67%.

2 bpg and 1.43 steals per game.

Let's just make a Nene clone.

67% is absurd. It should stay there too...

meloivynene, don't forget to revise your Nuggets Prediction Contest picks before tomorrow's game.
