Wow, what a game thread. Not even trying anymore eh?.

Anyways after a successful road trip i hope we continue to win and dominate on our own home floor against a team like the T-pups.

One thing to remember is Minnesota does not have another game until Wednesday. That'll give them a chance to play all-out. Denver can't take this game off. It's these 1-7 teams I worry about, Nuggs always seem to do badly on at least 2-3 of these games a season coming off a big victory.

It worked the last time you tried it

Where is Don and his nice game thread for this game? Heck, he is probably still hung over from Iverson finally knocking off the Lakers, which was nice to see.

I hope we don't see a let down game after the big win against the Celtics. If we had finished out the Warriors game the way we started it, we would have the top spot in the northwest already. I will take the 3way tie at the top though.

The Twolves lost their game against Portland in the 4th quarter. They only scored 12 points in the final quarter. They do take care of the basketball (only 11 turnovers in this game), and they do pass the ball, so if we come out and stand around like we tend to do in stretches of every game, this game might be a struggle. I would like to see us set the tone early and avoid the close game in this one.

This week we play the first two games at home against Minny and Milwaukee before taking to the road again. The first stop is on Wed. night on the second night of a back-to-back game against the Spurs. Friday has us going to the Staples center to play the team that we can't seem to beat.

These two home games coming up are pretty important games if we want to stay around the top of the division this week.

I think Chauncey is going to help a lot with games we are supposed to win, something we have struggled with in the past. No let downs! Let's get our first blowout this year.

Can't have a letdown. Even the Broncos won.

Awful, awful game. I can't believe we were able to pull that out. Can we silence some haters yet? No way we win that game with any other team during the Carmelo era.

We need a lot of work on the offensive end-- I think the defensive intensity is really changing a lot of our players' games.

won another game with our defense. quite thrilling.

though it should have been a blowout if our offense was halfway functional. 34% shooting is pretty horrendous. didn't turn the ball over, and shot well from 3...which is nice.

Phew, that was ugly.
But I gotta say, it's a lot of fun watching a team that actually plays defense.

Glad to see a defensive effort get the win. Not a pretty offensive game, but Nuggz still shot 45% from the 3. In the end a more experienced team was able to pull it out. Billups didn't shoot that well, but that 3 to put us up by 4 was BIG.

Pretty crappy effort overall, but they got it done. They won't shoot that poorly most nights.

Melo has become too into his jumper. We rarely ever see him post up anymore, he's just not the complete scorer he has been in the past. I do like the rebounding the last couple of nights.

this gotta be the most ugly win we got this season, i can't believe we pulled it out after playing half asleep in the second and the third period.

Maybe it's corona's game thread?, i mean in the tub and everything it probably rubed off on the rest of the team. :D
