OT: Amateur Basketballclubs in the region of denver

Hey guys,

i'm from germany and i'm going to do an intership in the us from feb. 2010 til july 2010. i already have some good companys who would give me god job for this time. possibilities are denver, florida and new mexico. denver (fort collins) or florida (near miami) seem to be the directions for me.
as i'll be there for about 5-6 months i would like to know if there are any amateur basketball clubs in the states. you know i just want to continue playing while i'm there and work on my game a lil' bit in me spare free time.
i just want to play and have some fun. not so much competition - just for fun and having a good time. My game is solid but nothing spectacular - for a lower league here in germany it's okay but i don't know if i could keep up with the guys in the u.s. - so do you have some leagues or local teams where i could play?

Wow planning for the future for sure.. 2010? Not sure what leagues are open in denver, though I would love to find out if anyone has more info on it, but I play in the city league every year in colorado springs, you more than welcome to hit me up as Im always looking for players just dont know what I'll be doing in 2 more years...

don't get me wrong i just wanted to know whether you have some kind of amateur leagues or not

- but good to know.

what kind of players usually play on your team? regular guys who pick up the ball once in a while or former college heroes
