With 4 games in the next 6 days, the Nuggets will have to play at their highest level to stay above .500 - I mean, Dallas and Houston back-to-back could be a texas tumble or a righteous rumble.

Dirk Nowitzki has been playing at his usual All-Star status in recent games, and that means the Mavericks are playing better as well.

Not to mention, isn't T-Mac back from his injury now? Him and Yao would be a tough task.

But DAMN! Like G-Karl said earlier this year, the Nuggets can beat anybody in the league - under certain conditions: 1) We bring our A-Game to the fullest, and 2) we find a way to beat the fLakers! Put Kobe in shackles...

If the Nuggets play with an underdog vengeance, they might get a sweep. But anything less would, maybe, probably earn them 1 of 2.

Maybe this sequence of games will turn out like that one earlier this year when Cleveland clobbered us, but we bruised Boston the very next night...hmmm we'll just have to wait and see...

P.S. When the Cavaliers come to town this Friday night, we have to beat 'em! It would only be justified...

Isn't that a bit Superstitious?, well anyway i hope your wrong eathy because i got a good feeling about this game.

Kenyon on dirk is always a great matchup, just hope kenyon is good to go and we get to see him on dirk.

No one on their team have a chance to guard carmelo so i think he'll have a good game, the important factor is to not let some random scrub go off for 15-20 points.

Hopefully we'll start off this road trip on a good note and win this game because it doesn't get any easier with houston tomorow.

Yea, I hope he can hold him down offensively, the last few games Dirk has been playing great. I hope K's shots are falling too, the last few times we played in Dallas, I felt like K was forcing too much since he is from there and wants to impress. I hope he can get some shots to fall and make Dirk play some D.

Please get this tough stretch started off on a nice foot. I feel like 3-1 for the week should be a goal. I feel like we can beat Cleveland at home, I'm not THAT impressed with them. Then if we can go 2-1 for the road games (@ DAL, @ HOU, @ PHO), I'd be very pleased. It all starts with winning tonight.

I was thinking about 3-1 last night. The only loss might be at Phoenix.
Let's go Nuggs !

3-1 a goal?

you guys sound like Karl. pathetic.

billups would never accept 3-1 as a goal. if you're an elite team, you go out and try to win every single night and try to sweep home stands and road trips. not set goals that involve losing games.

Exactly. You don't play to lose. I have never liked Karl's 10 win quota crap.

There are places that we never win, and one of them is Phoenix.
Of course I would like 4-0 against elite teams, but we'll see.

phoenix isn't elite.
neither is dallas.
in fact houston isn't either. tmac's played like crap, artest is out with ankle. i think alston is too (hamstring)
heck...neither is portland. their d stinks worse than the nuggets ever did in the past 5 years.

we have a better record than all these teams. they're formidable, but not great/elite. we should expect to win all these games.

So we're going to be on a 9 game winning streak after all these games? 8-)

We go 4-0 or 2-2 and each time we go down fighting. You don't go out to lose. Like, half way through the 3rd quarter "I guess this is the one.....c'mon guys let's lose this one and try again tomorrow..." You just get pissed off and come back even harder the next night.

What Karl needs to say is just don't get TOO pissed about a loss. Learn your lessons and move on, and don't repeat mistakes. He needs to say, "You guys are going to get all 4 IF, you play hard, play smart and share the basketball"

I agree with whats been said already.
I see no reason we can't win all of these next 4 games, we're better than all of those teams.
The b2b with Portland will be interesting, but I'm not sure we can win both of them. It's good chance for us to gain some more ground in the division though.

Great first half. Melo working hard and Kenyon making it rain. But no Balkman?

I can really imagine Denver losing this game with a phlegmatic second half.

Ok, after the expected comeback by Dallas, Denver is looking good, J.R. is showing how valuable he can be.
